mr2tony - 2007-09-21 4:44 PM Oh and I didn't shave the past two days so I have a nice little beard going -- my boss noticed. As did one of my colleagues in Mexico City, one in DC and one in London. Don't these people have anything better to do other than watch TV?

I trust your tie at least matched your shirt and suit

Uh ... tie? Suit?

So, you got a link or clip that you can share so we can see you in all your glory?

Didn't know we were lucky enough to be able to talk to a celebrity on a regular basis.

No the file's too big to send. And no, I'm not a celebrity. We don't have that many viewers. But thanks!

mr2tony - 2007-09-21 1:23 PM OK so I just did a TV hit on our TV station and I swear I felt like I had a Miss South Carolina moment. My colleagues all said I did fine but I swear at one point I had NO clue what to say. Ugh.

Did they ask you how to spell the word "grain"?

No, but I couldn't find Kansas on a map.

Nobody can.

Especially when it is a map of Iraq.

lvthgme - 2007-09-22 12:56 AM Hey kids...=) Soooo...I had so much fun tonight. I think I'm still smiling. =) Volleyball match after volleyball practice...got to see a former player have a great time with her team, and then some other girls I'd coached in club were there playing for the other team, so that was a fun surprise. And some other people were in the crowd who I know and that was fun to talk to them, too. Then my phone rang...=) And it was time to go ELSEWHERE. =) So fun!!! Anyway, I have to get up kinda early for a tournament tomorrow but suffice it to say...=)

Sounds like it was quite a good night. You will probably still by flying high next week.

Nice. i'm glad last night worked out well for you!

My weekend's been pretty quiet. i watched (and am still watching!) too much football (Yay, Badgers! Yay, Packers!!), but i ran (well, waddled) eight miles yesterday. i was going to run a 5k this morning, but since my Achilles tendons were being disagreeable, i decided to skip it.

i should at least dig out some knitting or something... What a waste of a weekend, heh.

EIGHT MILES...nice. That's freakin sweet...In my dreams I run that far. =) I didn't watch ANY football this weekend. I thought about it today but slept instead.

haha, thanks.

Well, there's football on right now. If we pay attention we might see 2googles...

On a side note, i cannot stand John Madden.

Tony Romo is sacked on Dallas's first offensive down. Madden says, "Now, that's something Tony Romo does well..." "What? Fall down on the ground?"

UGH.

Oh yes, I'm the same way, generally speaking. It worked out great last night. I got to have both options! =) First part of the night was a cookout/movie with one group (with one extra special component =) and then I went over to the boys' house and we had a little fire in the fire pit thinger til about 4. Very fun at both places. =) And when I called the boys about last night in the first place they were going to play football or frisbee, neither of which is a great idea for me with my leg so I didn't go to that. Then I said I'd call them later and see what was up and they were watching a movie so I watched one with the other group and so...it was perfect! =)

In other news...I've never ridden a motorcycle before, right? But...I think I should. Especially since someone I know HAS one... AAACK! Wouldn't that be the funnest? And yes, I said "funnest" b/c I meant it. =)

Then I peppered (uh...played v-ball with just a few people but no net) for about an hour with the boys today and it was so GREAT. My leg only hurt bad a few times! =)

How was YOUR weekend, TAN?

I remember the first time I got to bang a ball around after shoulder surgery. It felt SO GOOD! Right up until I was a little too ambitious with a swing. Then it hurt like nobody's business. But I was so glad to be out and playing again that I didn't really care. Congrats on getting back into peppering!

My day started off a little rough, but improved considerably when I got an early start on the birthday thing with some CAKE. Mmm, carrot cake.
