Coach gave me a mountain workout and I'm a bit wary of riding up there solo. Cell phone reception's not good, steep drop offs, technical descent, you get the picture. sigh |

A) Excited about seeing the kids in a little less than a week and flying to Dead Moines and hanging with my folks B) OTOH, kind of angry that this all reminds me how I'm missing out on my kids' growing up and how that whole purpose to my life has been taken away from me I'm NOT depressed. Frustrated would be a better word... which is why I want FOOOOOOOOOOOD Welllllllllll............ If you really feel that way, you *could* give thought to moving closer to them. That way, you'd be able to see 'em more frequently. (Maybe.) Just a thought!............... Although, food is good too. |

(Although driving behind you in a car is a potential alternative, I guess!) I'd tell you to give George a call, but I think he's busy in France for the new few weeks. |

All the funnest rides are really hilly. It is fun. And unlike the ride from last Friday, there are no grunts. The climb gets bitey at certain points, but it is never for long and you get plenty of chances to recover before it gets bitey again. At this point, I'd settle for someone to drive up in a car. At least if I got into trouble, help would be nearby. |

No way would I try riding that territory! I would love to ride with you sometime though cause I think it would be a blast (you would sufficiently kick my butt and I would be humiliated but I would still have fun) |
