Steve, hate to say it, but it looks like all the items in the goody bag were targeted towards the female market...

LazyMarathoner - 2008-09-23 12:27 AM Finally was able to get back on the bike, on the trainer of course. I can hold on with my arm now and it was only slightly uncomfortable. I had to keep it brief, but I should be able to get back to it now.

Yeah!!  Glad to hear you were able to get back to it.

Sometimes I run fast just so I finish in time to get some post-race food...

otter_sh - 2008-09-22 7:07 PM So now I need to wait my hour before swimming

Probably an old wives tale...

Check out this article:

Maybe.  I know if I eat too close to swim practice, I get kinda sick.

Depends on if it is good post-race food or not.

Hi! I had a power outage for over a week (a wind storm knocked down all the power lines). It's great to have power again!

I recently learned how much I love computers, hot showers, hot meals, water (we lost our water too!) and being able to see in the dark.

I've only had good post-race food once. If they'd make it better, I'd race a heck of a lot faster

If I lose power all I have to stare at is that big black thing in the living room.  However,  It is a good reason to run.

Do I even want to know what the big black thing is?

I'm not going to do any biking until my race on Sunday, so I need to modify my goal. Swimming and running (suprisingly) is okay, though. Do I just change them myself? I last biked on Saturday and that was the defining moment that I really can't ride right now. So.....

Out of 30 days in September, I could only potentially bike 23 of them. That's 77%.

Actually, you need the "Challenge Organizer's approval" to modify a goal. And this month, that would be me.

So.... Please refresh my memory.... Why is it that you couldn't bike for a week?

Sounds like my experience, too.  My tri club got Chipotle to sponsor their 2 races this year.  It was great.
