wurkit_gurl - 2008-01-23 1:56 PM WTF? I go away for an hour and there's nothing new? Man, you guys suck...

Sorry, I actually have to do real work today. Someone decided that a deadline would be a good idea.

My favorite response to this sort of thing is "Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

It's all right. I'm finding plenty of things around here to keep busy with and play catch up at the same time. Peacing out in about an hour anyway.

Neither of them are attending. I would only invite the one to stay anyway, which looks suspicious  - the other roommate, I hate to say, is not my favorite, and pulls this whole "dumb girl" routine around guys. I'd prefer to spare my guests from that. We already had one crazy girl to deal with in a week...

I think both of them are making themselves scarce. The less-than-fun one has plans, I think, and I'm not sure what the other one is going to do.

So, I made Wurkit's cake tonight. It was really good. My family LOVED it. If that guy Matt will not start dating Wurkit promptly after that cake I would not know what to think. May be his bro would?

Z, we are not supposed to use his name.  At least say "Matt X." or something.

834am and no updates.  One must assume that the marinara sauce was well received.

turtlegirl - 2008-01-24 8:58 AM only if it was homemade.

It was. Everything I made was made from scratch (including the frosting on the cake) except the bread I put alongside the meal. The meal was very well-received, the dishes were done for me, there was lots of laughing and a good time was had by all. I still have a TON of cake, as I completely forgot to send them home with part of it - I am going to try to see if I can drop some off...anyone want to have a Guinness cake party? It's really freaking good...
