I have a distributorship for Little Debbie. In my driveway right now is about $5000 worth of snacks. Not the best job for trying to drop weight, but people are always amazed I don't weigh 500 pounds. |

Got the new shoes and everything is good in my world....til tonight. It is 10 degrees and blowing snow so I hopped on the dreadmill for a 50 min interval workout and something happened to the belt. It is slipping and just not safe to be trying an interval workout on. So count me in for 10 min tonight and tomorrow and Sunday i will have to brave the sub 10 degree highs for the day temps and run outside. |

Well, due to being extremely slow, I put in much more time today than I had booked so this pretty much makes up for what I bailed out of on Thursday. Also, did more of a warm-up than I had planned. BTW, did you know you can get warm and sweat even when it is only 13 outside. I think I took this Frozen Tundra thing too literally in anticipation of tomorrow's Packer game. Go Monkeys |

There has been a gathering or two (with adult beverages) where later in the evening a mad run to the trailer has broken out with me tossing away profit to a bunch of drunks in my driveway. Oh well we wrote it off to damage or theft for accounting purposes. |

Just a little fun fact for all those who could care less. That picture that is famously on the box is of Debbie McKee. Her grandpa was the founder and needed a name and a picture so it was taken of her at 5 yrs old. She is now middle aged and very wealthy as you can imagine. She still sits on the board but her brothers run the company. |

Champion 9430 No excuses! | Subject: RE: Funky-Chrono-Monkeys of the Frozen Cinder Tundra I was supposed to do a long run today of 1:30 but 5 degree temps with sub zero wind chills and snow piling up forced my run inside on the Y track. I managed 3.25 mi in 27+ min but gave up as my right calf was getting sore from all the turning. We shall try again tomorrow. |

Got a new much much faster computer that is finally up and running. Now I can blog madly in half the time Can't believe how cheap computers are these days.... Anyway, I have been slacking lately preparing for my race weekend. I'm fairly happy w/ the results, but now have to start putting some serious running time in to make up for it. Sure hope I built this weekend into my goal.... Sure hope I can walk tomorrow The duathlon Saturday was in 4" of new snow and I did not fall down -- yay! The race today was a 10 mile run, much of it in snow, and I didn't fall down again! It's the little things, isn't it So I'm ready for some lsd training.... on dry roads. Just found out there were quite a few professional runners and triathletes in the race today. Almost wish I had watched instead of running. Give DickDime some congrats for coming in 8th overall against these people!!! |

CONGRATULATIONS to Who's Your Marmadaddy? This is the second week in a row that they've had the top ranking! BUT remember that this is only the THIRD week of the challenge! January is only 64.5% completed. And some of the teams are REALLY close to one another! There's still time to help your team achieve that #1 ranking! So get out there and Swim/Bike/Run!... And then Swim/Bike/Run some more! Dee and Beth |
