Hit the beach at about 6:00 as the sun was coming up and did 10 miles @ General Aerobic Pace. I have been having issues with pacing the last month or so that seemed to have sorted themselves out so today I ran naked

The sunrise was gorgeous and it was in the upper 60's and clear when I finished up and headed home. Did not see any dolphin but I heard a few around the Warmwater Jetty. The Surf is still looking pretty fun today as we continue to get some of that energy from the Southern Hemisphere mixed in with some good ground swell.

OH WOW..... I need sun!!!  (Honey, we need a vacation!!!)

This sure made me jealous and yes you are very lucky to live in such great weather ALL year round

But I also know living in the same place for a long time we usually take a lot of things for granted

I had a rest day today with which was planned but also kind of forced as I slept all day after my 12 hour nightshift. I am back at work for another 12 hours now.

Should get my next bike ride in tomorrow (on the trainer

I did a half an hour on the trainer today.  yes, it was inside, but it's been storming for the past couple hours, so I am not riding outside.

That almost makes me cry……………….could I BE anymore jealous

Yeah, sorry about that. I did not mean to torture you folks who are buried under a blanket of weather. I really think you folks who get it done in crappy weather (Inside Our Out) are the greatest.

I just did not want anyone to think I was taking what we have here for granted

Rest assured, I will be outside in the late day sunshine on my bike tonight.

If it would help you with your jealousy, I can point you to a website that has live streaming video of the beach where I usually run. (For Surf Reports)

I think Waterdog has a evil streak in him. LOL

Mesteren... I think we need to get down there and kidnap him... give him a taste of some hard training.

That sounds like a very good idea It will be interesting to see how he runs on snow and ice

Trainer ride today -- stoopid snow.  It may be melted by the weekend for a nice long ride.

Hope your weather is better than ours today   I won't mind being at the office for a change.

No worries, I will just dig my YakTrax out and I think we are golden

I lived as an Expat in London, Ont. and Mississauga, Ont. on different occasions so running in snow and coldish weather at least somewhat familiar.

Oh, and the only danger of someone coming here to kidnap me is that the kidnapper might suddenly decide to stay

I think I will refrain from including details of my beach workouts in future posts because I really do know what it is like to live someplace at least a bit less "Outside Training" friendly.

so... that would be the SoCal effect... the corolary of the Stockholm Effect. Instead of the kidnappee siding with the kidnappers... we'd end up staying with you!  LOL

I'm thinking that we'd not mind that in the slightest.

skarl... we got another 8-10" here ... will this EVER end. Anyone up for a little goundhog BBQ??   LOL

Yeah!  That'll take care of his shadow   March is usually our snowiest month -- yay.

YUM, Groundhog: The "Other" white meat

I wonder if this will ever end up as the secret ingredient on Iron Chef America. (Maybe I should EMail Alton Brown and suggest it)

Most of the rest of the "Import" shoes are total rubbish. (The Office, Coupling,What not to Wear, Graham Norton etc.) I liked the old Iron Chef and Love Iron Chef America.

They have some high powered chefs on the IronChef side and that attracts a lot of great challengers. I was pretty stoked when the brought back Masaharu Morimoto from the original series.

I really like Iron Chef America.  I wasn't sold at first, but it really is a good show.  And I love Alton Brown, so that doesn't hurt.
