300 miles in a month? That is insane!. I was happy to end last year with 150!

Great job team! I just did a quick 2 miles bringing my total to 28. I just have 7 miles to go! (of course that is just a lunch break for waterdog, with time to eat )

Keep it up!

Hit the road at lunch today and did a quick 6 miles @ GA Pace. Feeling great after a full day of rest heading into my first week of taper time. Had to really focus on taking it easy since I have another run planned for later today.

Current Week: 6 Miles

MTD: 252 Miles - 100% Complete

And with that, I have reached my goal for the month

Just finished a pretty awful 6-miler. I had a lot of pain and cramping from the start that never really subsided. I guess my legs were more tired from Sunday's 15 than I thought. Nevertheless, it's done! I'm at 84.09 miles so far, 70% of goal.

Knocked out an easy 4 miler this morning. I even managed to sleep in until 5:45 before running. That was nice.

Month Total - 56 miles - 100+ % complete

Probably my last run till my Oly on Sunday. So I will have 8 miles for this week, 6.2 next week for a total of 62.2 - almost a half marathon over my goal. Ding. Woo.

Just finished 8 more. It was better than last night, but still rough. Seems my ITBS is back so I'm going to have to be really careful. It's an awful time in my training to have this hit. My total is now 92.9 miles, 76.7% complete.

Awesome, your right on track for a great finish for the month

But definitely take care of that ITB.

Best of luck this weekend with your half. I agree the half is a really fun distance to race.

I need to get up there and run this marathon sometime; I have heard good things about it. (I have heard folks compare it to Tahoe or Big Sur)

Hit the road at lunch today and slogged through a quick 6 miles. I did a 25 mile round trip ride this morning down to my weekly Tri Club Swim and my legs are feeling it. Hoping to get some good recovery with a short trail run tonight after work.

Did a nice and easy 8 miles through the Hundred Acre Woods on the trails around my house. It was nice and relaxing and great time to see the sun set over the ridge.

I am getting up early tonorrow to head North for my race this weekend and will post the team's miles when I get back on Sunday night. (Shawn was cool with that)

Hi Everyone!

We are at the end of week 4.  Here's the plan for wrapping up the challenge.

1) We will report numbers this weekend the same way we have so far.  Get your numbers logged by Saturday and Team captains will send me results on Sunday.

2) Standings will be posted Monday morning by noon.

3) SUN - TUE will be the last days of our challenge.  Get your numbers posted for those days by Tuesday night.

4) Team captains will send me the results from Sun to Tue on Wednesday.

5) I'll report the final challenge results on Thursday.

Let me know if you have questions.

Good luck to everyone!!

6.28 miles done, some on the elliptical. I'm not sure if my ITB is going to tolerate my 18-miler tomorrow, I will have to wait and see. Total miles so far - 98.37, 81.9% complete. Tomorrow's race will get me less than 4 miles from my goal so unless my leg totally blows up, I should finish at 100% (just barely).

77.43 miles MTD.  Racing a 5k tomorrow, and will likely get a run in Tuesday, but probably not going to hit that 100 mile mark.  You may all take turns flogging me at the end of the month.

I did the NYC Marathon Tune Up race this morning, an 18-miler. It went much better than expected given the ITB issues this week. I couldn't keep up my MP pace, but was only off by 11 seconds/mile so not too bad.

I'm at 116.37 miles for the month, 97% complete. Looks like I might make it after all

I reached my goal for the month and finished my first half-marathon in 1:53:xx this morning.  Great course, well organized and good post-race festivities.  My RR will be up once the official results are available.
