So yummy-I slather it in pesto and add all sorts of other goodies. Yum I bought a big pork shoulder last night and hunted down some food network recipes to make it. Paula Deen has an easy one: marinead i in oil salt and pepper x 24 hrs then cook. I like easy However...I think that one may be too easy. I may look again at Emeril's recipe. Ooohhh!!! I love my pork/coke roast... nothing healthy but... 1 jar of chili sauce (I think like 12 to 14oz) 1 can of coca-cola Wistershire sauce Tabasco Sauce Onion Garlic Salt/Pepper I think that's everything... crock pot for several hours It's VERY Yummmy!!! Goes great with Green Beans and potatoes or pull it apart for sandwiches. |

I think you need the sugar to carmelize... you can try, but I wouldn't be too sure about it... afterall, this recipe is old enough that it originally called for a 10oz bottle. |
