QueenZipp - 2009-04-07 9:27 AM I have the feeling that I will be on the drainer tonight since it has gotten wickedly COLD outside. It's going to be a C-O-L-D race next week.....BRRRRRR, don't they know I hate being cold?

What temp pre tell  ?   50s...   40s  ?

Maybe 50's...but it was close to 7 pm when I got to ride so it was on the drainer beating myself up listening to Coach Troy and Hillacious.

Once the new spandex arrives early next week you got it! (I have spent a lot of time in spandex in my life via wrestling for 4+ years and rowing in college soooo...no stranger to lycra, poly or nylon blends   )

I am frustrated....saddle sores .....I need to call the Dr but don't want to hear "stay off the bike or out of the pool" until it heals....I KNOW it needs to be cut out though....I doubt a simple incise & drain will do the trick...

OUCH...those saddle sores sound realllllly bad. Guess some butt butter or monkey butt won't do the trick. Sometimes I find less is more in terms of padding in chamois. In the summer, my pearls get too bunched up and pinch places I don't want pinched and with the heat.... OWIE! Which reminds me...I need a new pair of bike shorts and/or a new saddle.

Supposed to maybe hit 50 this Sunday... maybe I can sneak out on my bike after Easter feasting...

As far as those pictures go...I think at least one of my orders should arrive by Friday so maybe supercat will get the picture faster than anyone would want to see that...(just have to make sure it does not get posted in teh BT guys of 2009 thread!)

Sorry team I have been MIA but I have been getting the workouts in. I drove last Thursday 8 hours to be home for a bridal shower for my future SIL. While it was fun to be home the almost 24 hours was a lot by myself. So I didn't get much in besides walking this weekend but most of it was in 20 mph winds. I would love to say I will run tonight but it might be a bike night. I woke up this morning with a stuffy head, body aches and a sore throat. I am sure it is due to being exhausted from traveling but we will plan like it isn't. So bike it probably will be.

Consistency is my goal with 26 sessions of at least 30 min this month. I am on track.

Go Power Rangers.

HI, teamies!

They are supposed to lifting the block on BT during work, so soon I will be able to check in during lunch/times when I'm waiting on something, etc.

I did a drainer ride tonight ... it was snowing today!

I also recently got shims on my bike shoes to correct a slight leg-length discrepancy, and I can really notice the difference. I've done two rides with them, and my saddle sore was not larger after riding both times. I think it's finally going away.

My Achilles is better, but still not 100%. Getting new running shoes has helped tremendously. I was so paralyzed that those weren't the right shoes, that I put it off too long. I think I'm going to try a heel lift for that next.

Hi Kris!

Highlight the table (CTRL-C, copy), click on Settings at the top of the page. Then click on Training Log Customization, then click on Goals. If you want the table to appear on the left of your log, paste (CTRL-V) it under Short Term Goals. If you want it to appear on the right, paste it under Long Term Goals.

Hope that helps!

Wow! You guys have been busy bees! Way to go Power Rangers! Wooooot!

I will get some biking in later today and another in tomorrow..probably thats it for the week.

If I had BT at work (when I worked in the corp world) I would have been on waaaaay too much! LOL I had a hard enough time trying to toggle back and forth from Christmas shopping screens to work related screens whenever someone would stop by! LOL

Morning Ranger types! Did not bike in today as I am planning for a long ride tomorrow and possibly on Saturday as well. Going to go for a nice run that evening though when I get home, it will be a short 35-40 minutes but...going to try for some smaller hill intervals to break up any monotony. Happy Pseudo Friday!
