Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: The Ghoulie's: We Are Doing What We Are Loving December Challenge Good morning Bill. I don't know if I could get a replacement or not. Our mail lady will not leave packages there because of the dogs. She will call us and we pick them up at the post office. I had thought about having them delivered to my parents when I ordered them, now I wish I would have. The UPS folks know we have dogs. It says so on the tags that are on the boxes. |

Yesterday was an absolutely SUCKTASTIC day! I had one of the worst days at work I have ever had, we'll just leave it at that. I stopped at home for a few minutes before I had to go to a dr.'s appt. I pulled in the driveway and $100+ worth of lego's I had ordered for my son and nephew were scattered over the driveway and yard. My lovely Golden Lab must have thought they were for her because she ate them. She has actually eaten quite a few things I have gotten delivered. I was SOOOOO upset when I saw that. I grabbed the kids wagon out of the garage and stood out in the rain and tried to scoop them all up. I then took the wagon full of wet lego's into the kitchen because I didn't want to leave them out in the garage incase she decided she wanted a snack. I go to the doc's, she's new there, I like her, she's very thorough. We go over everything and while my cholesterol has dropped 18 points in the past 3 months (do you think running over 100 miles has anything to do with that? ). I have other numbers in my bloodwork that she doesn't like, so I have to get more done. I finally get home, have a little dinner, and my best friend in the whole wide world called. We were on the phone for almost 2 hours. We talked about everything! I felt better when I got off the phone with her. When I was finally off the phone my husband asked if I heard the voicemail. I told him no, so I went and listened. I got a call for an interview for a government job back where I used to work a year ago. I SO MUCH want to go back there, and being a gov't employee would be WAY better than being a contractor. So cross your fingers Ghoulies that my interview next week goes well. After I heard the voicemail I had to go out and call my BFF and tell her about the interview 1) because I knew she would be happy for me, and she wrote my resume for me and 2) because she works there!!! Have a slam dunk day Ghoulies!!! Suckage on the legos! At least your day ended on a positive note. I hope all goes well for you in the interview |

She asked me 3 times if I really went for a ride - come on that is crazy talk right there - If Bill decides it is time to ride he picks the bike out that will hopefully keep him rubber side down and goes out. (I love speaking 3rd person at times ) WOOHOO FOR BILL AND HIS RIDE IN THE RAIN!!! |

I did my best to catch up before I get to go back out. Anne, I hope you get your job. I do hope the govm'nt job pays more than mine, though. You should be able to get a re-do on the legos. The UPS folks here left some stuff in the rain and I got a replacement. They had the option of leaving a note for you to go pick it up or arrange a delivery at another time. Good luck. Stacy, that recipe sounds great. We eat lots of fish here but I have always shied from using the parm crusting in case I burned it. Hey everyone else. Sorry I am not responding personally to all of you. I am sooo far behind and still a little wonky from fun sinus drugs. I have a jam packed next few days: Dr this afternoon, then chamber x mas dinner tonight. Tomorrow, work am then drive 4 hours to Durham for a Sat am funeral then a drive back for a party Sat night then Sunday brunch and afternoon open house then dinner at a friends. I will get some workouts in, I swear I will. I HAVE to, I feel like a sinus infected blob! If I don't drop in much, its not because I don't love ya Ghoulies!! PS. Neal, you never said whether you got your problem fixed..... Just curious. |
