Nice.  I had a needle in my right hand and was switching the tubes out with my left.  Kind of funny.

Last time, the guy who is running the tests got his blood taken and ended up passing out.  The nurse in the lab said he's not allowed anymore.

I go the other way needle in left hand (right antecubital vein) and switching tubes w/ the right.  At least with vacutainers.  I used to draw with just a needle and syringe.

Left hand clotted really quickly.  Had to do the right.  I used a butterfly, so it had the thing on the end.

And thanks for the warning.  Luckily, I get paid to play "hurry up and wait" for several hours a week, so I could use an addiction.  Especially one that involves sitting at my desk and typing and looking all productive and business-like.  Reading trashy gossip magazines is kind of a dead giveaway I'm not actually working.

I work at Moffitt and I live in Lutz just off of collier parkway so we're neighbors sort of.  Do you work out at the LA fitness @ county line and BruceB by any chance?

I'm going to be fantasticly excited if you tell me that we've met before since I have a tendancy to talk to random people while there.

It's a good possibility as I tend to talk to random people as well, particularly in the pool.  What time are you usually there?

Depends on the day.  Over lunch or right after work, 5:45-6 ish.  I usually only ever swim over lunch.  Less of a chance of having some sort of really weird interactions with the dudes using the hot tub. 

ha ha ha I usually swim after work so 5:30 onward, never had any trouble w/ the hot tub crowd but then again they probably don't swim that well.  I see one of the personal trainers on thurs @ 5:30 so if you're there I will be there from around 5 on and I may stay for spin class.

Sweet.  I was actually tossing around the idea of swimming and then taking spin tonight too.  It's the guy instructor on Thursdays, right?

There's one girl that I loathe, but I don't think she teaches on Thursdays.

Last thursday it was a girl.  I wasn't too happy with the class but I found last thurs I could actually do spin with a broken toe so I stayed for the class.  I usually do spin at lifestyles.  I forgot her name but everyone seemed to love her.  To me all they did was stand (not so good on a broken toe) and a few pullbacks, no speed work, no jumps nothing but stand.
may be I will see you there tonight any way, I work out with Anthony (blond mohawk)@ 5:30.
