Is there something wrong with the picture? Literally or figuratively?? Literally. One year I shunned the current photo of DD for the previous year because the sweet little thing had made a stupid face for the photo for a dare. (I was for not paying for the things at all). If that is the case- she is just not fond of that photo- then I would not be worried. The other option is worrying. This would be the correct response. I cannot imagine me pulling someone of the opposite sex outside to my car to show her pictures of my DS. Now for other pictures maybe - LOL I had this all backward. She made a point of showing the picture. She is proud of him. That is not worrying to me. Unless she was trying to sell him. |

Then she asked me how I was doing and if I was ready for the weekend. I'll be keeping my eye on her today. Robin, did you get to her already? Spooky! Maybe she is practicing for Halloween by pretending to be a human |

Oh no you were right on - He showed my DW like it was a trophy kill - sorry for the hunting reference but I think the comparison is appropriate Maybe he is thinking, "this is one kid almost out of the house!" Haha, little does he know that the expenses don't stop just because they get out of high school.... |

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Ghoulies vs BT Thread 2 Meetings in the city yesterday were good. Nice to see some old work friends. Train ride home was horrid though. 50 min ride took 2 1/2 hours due to track issues. And I had Chatty Cathy sitting behind me talking on the phone about NOTHING the entire time to a friend who apparently had NOTHING better to do than listen to her drivel. Sigh. Next time must remember to toss the nano in my purse. Rant over. |

I was pleased that I'd managed to get to Penn Stn in time to grab water, a paper and Runners World before jumping on the train but soon realized I would have traded all of it for music or earplugs. |

I don't *get* people that have extended phone conversations in public/confined places where others have no choice but to overhear. Quick call to say you are going to be late, fine. Long, non-stop blah, blah, blah has no place on the train. Read a book or download a game to your phone. |
