Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: December CRUSHERS Motivation Challenge I'm on a mission this weekend... Short swim, ST/Core and a run yesterday. 1.5 hour spin class this afternoon. My run yesterday was later than I had planned but it ended up being great! Nice and cold but not freezing, and it was dark on my road and lots of xmas lights were on. It was nice and peaceful and beautiful! |

Celebrate the little victories we have in training. They really aren't that little. Believe me, I absolutely hear you. |

Master 1346 Gold Coast | Subject: RE: December CRUSHERS Motivation Challenge Hi Guys - sorry I've been awol for a week or so but I'm back!!!! To exercise in some way, shape or form, everyday from now on, including Christmas Day. To find a new muay thai trainer who will train me even though I'm a girl. To be able to do a complete chin up. I can do a few pull ups, although not to completely straight arms in between so its kind of cheating anyway, but I really really want to be able to do proper chin ups. As of yesterday I can do a few offset by 19kg and one offset by 12kg. |

Master 1346 Gold Coast | Subject: RE: December CRUSHERS Motivation Challenge Oh, and I nearly forgot, 1st tri of the season this Sunday. Goal number 4 is to win... Just kidding, its to get through the swim without getting eaten by sharks and to enjoy the rest of the race overtaking people. Also to try and not let my friend who will be starting a few minutes after me but is a super speedy runner overtake me... |

Extreme Veteran 671 Not Quite DFL | Subject: RE: December CRUSHERS Motivation Challenge Just thought I'd poke my head in and say 'hi'. Half the house has the flu - and the other half trying to not get it. *sigh* and I'm on call this week. Maybe I'll run in the a.m. It's not THAT cold, is it? Of course, I'm one of them trying to not get sick...3 down, 3 to go... |

Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: December CRUSHERS Motivation Challenge Ugh... I forgot I have to take the kids to the doc this afternoon for their annual appointments. Fortunately, I think only one is getting shots. Having to hold down one screaming kid while the other is crying in the chair does not work well! But the really crappy thing is now I'm not going to be able to run this afternoon and I'm going to have to hit the dreadmill tonight. Or maybe I'll head out for another XMas light run... assuming these flurries don't make it too slippery. |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: December CRUSHERS Motivation Challenge I had my first session with the personal trainer today. Most of it was fine, the worst thing (other than 10 sets of 25 crunches which didn't hurt intil over the 6th set) was the STRETCHING at the end. My hamstrings did not appreciate that!!! |

Master 1623 | Subject: RE: December CRUSHERS Motivation Challenge So I had a great weekend minus finding out I have to take an exam that I thought I wouldnt have to take. Last night was holiday dinner with my roomies and friends and tonight is our roomie secret santa night. The bad news is I feel horrible today. Sore throat, ears hurt, sinus headache and congestion. I'm pretty sure it's allergies, it feels just like allergies but it's definitely slowing me down today. Also I had planned to swim 14000yds this month well the YMCA at home would cost me $86 to join from December 13th to the end of the month which neither me nor my parents are willing to pay for what would probably end up being around 15 days I could actually go so swimming goal is gone for this month Hoping that my allegra kicks in soon so I can at least attempt a short run on the treadmill tonight. |

Master 1623 | Subject: RE: December CRUSHERS Motivation Challenge Not sure if I mentioned it or not but I have a pet hamster named Gus... not after the mouse in Cinderella but after my Grandpa's middle name (gustav). I got him 2 days before the anniversary of my grandpa's death so it only seemed fitting he be named after him. Well now I really want to get another small pet and came across Zeke, a 7 month old hamster who's spent the last month at an animal shelter. I feel like driving to go get him now but I emailed them about him instead. He's such a little cutie and I just wanna give him a good home for Christmas. |
