I'll be getting my peach tonight at Relay For Life. This year I have been so low-key with RFL that I find it hard to believe that it is actually here. My hubby pretty much had to remind me. We will not be there for the Survivors lap since we will be picking up my BIL at the airport and then going out for Thai food at our favorite Thai restaurant. But we should be there for the Luminary Lap. It always makes me cry. Then up bright and early for the bicycle race/ride tomorrow morning. I'm only doing 25 miles, but that is hilly miles and considering I haven't really been out on the bicycle except for two times this year, I think the 25 will be plenty. Then later that afternoon I have to go and video tape the fashion show at a local park where the library has entered 6 or 7 paper dresses. I was involved with making one of the paper dresses. We went with a flappers style with paper beads. I think it turned out really cool. I don't have a picture of the finished dress, but I'll get one tomorrow and post it on Monday. For Mother's Day, if I'm lucky I'll be playing tennis. My tennis team took second in the division and the first round of playoffs is tomorrow (which I'll be missing), and if they win tomorrow the second round is on Sunday. we shall see. If I'm not playing tennis, I'll be playing in the yard. That's a BUSY weekend! I feel tired already just thinking about the weekend. 2 more hours of work and then the weekend. Yeah! |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! Hi guys! I worked late last night, and stopped at the gym on the way home to get in a quick 600 yard workout. It sounds puny, but it's what I've worked up to. Half of it was freestyle, too. And, I swam it continuously! yay me! And I finished just before midnight. so it totally counts on yesterday's peach/ I am still dragging, and it's lunchtime now. I have one more hour, then I start picking kids up from school, and heading over to a local arcade/pizza/gocart place for the boy's birthday. 9 years old. my baby! I will try to hang around a bit the next few hours, but my 24 ounce frappucino isn't doing its job very well, so no promises. Plus, I should probably go chane out of the sweats I threw on when the carpet guy got here this morning...oh boy. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! It is 70 degrees and sunny here in the Great Salt Lake valley. I have a women's only bike ride/event tomorrow morning. just me and a few thousand of my closest friends out on the roads of Salt Lake County. Should be a good time. I have a guy here installing the last of the carpet downstairs now, then the birthday party at 4, then the flood restoration crew needs to come back sometime tonight or tomorrow early morning to move my furniture back into the rooms it is supposed to be in, so the painter can come finish up at 8 am tomorrow. The girlie girl has a hair appointment tomorrow afternoon, and hubby will have to get her there without me. mwahahaha! Then once I get home from my 40 mile ride, I will have to try to put papers and knick-knacks away and organize. Ugh! Sunday we will lounge around, and go to my mom's for dinner. |

Yeah,in such a good way. I need one of the HGTV clean sweep-type shows to come in and help me while everything is moved out. I have waaaayy too much stuff, and I get really overwhelmed when i try to organize and edit what I've got. Maybe I just need to drink soem margaritas or pina coladas while I work. Do you think that would help? |

That is just creepy to go missing like that. Kendra and Amy- you wear me out with all your activities this weekend. Kendra, The walk for life always tears me up. I am really glad you are on the survivor side!! Stacie, enjoy your girl night Ann- Is your son having a game this weekend? I am doing a 5 K tomorrow with a friend (who does my hair so I can't miss it- I will have pink hair if I do). Other than that- it is yardwork and house work this weekend. I have to bust tail to make some headway before I head to Wilmington for next weeks adventure. Night night Ghoulies. Enjoy your FFF Friday! |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! Good morning Ghoulies! I made my soccer coaching debut last night, and in our first game of the season we won 11-0. I actually felt bad for the other team. They had lost 15-0 the night before, and we were running all over them. I put my weakest players in on offense, and they were still scoring. We played a tougher game this morning, but we still won 6-1. My son plays this afternoon at 1:30. I actually enjoy coaching more than I thought I would. I'm having fun. Have a fantastic weekend everyone, and Happy Mother's Day to the Ghoulie Mom's!

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! Hey Ghouligans. I indeed went to the race today but I didn't run..... I hung with my friend who is attempting to be an adult-onset athlete and this was her first 5 k. We walked ALOT but there were some bodacious hills and she finished and is rightfully proud of herself. Then I took a nap. I felt like I haven't slept all week. Oh! that is cause I really haven't. NOW I can get on with the laundry and other asorted fun stuff. Ann Your team is kicking butt! Glad you are liking the coaching. All you other Ghouies have a great day. Amy.. Sending a big ole RAWR your way. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! What a whirlwind 24 hours. We did get the rest of the carpet in, and the furniture moved back. And I hear that the painter showed up and finished the painting this morning, including a bathroom we asked him to do as a side job. I have spent the last 24 hours at the doctors/ER/hospital with my 9 year old. He apparently didn't want his apendix anymore. He is slated to possibly go home tomorrow afternoon. we shall see. He's currently sleeping off all the anesthesia, and the aftereffects when he tried to eat and drink something a couple hours ago. I am one tired momma right about now. |
