But it is FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know. But I had to get up and go to work today. I didn't want to get out of bed, why can't work ever come to me? I'm trying to decide what kind of workout I am going to do tonight. I need to get my son moving, so it will most likely be something with him. I'm concerned about his weight. He's getting quite a belly on him. He was up before I left for work this morning and I asked if he wanted to go to Jiu Jitsu tonight. Generally the kids are supposed to be 13 before they start going to some of the adult classes, but my son is big enough, and strong enough, that they said he could go if he wanted to. He doesn't want to. If I don't get him moving he will do nothing when he gets home from school today. Can't have that! |

I wouldn't worry too much about the paunch. Most boys I know his age go through pudgy stage just before growing up by leaps and bounds. My step son went through a jabba the hut stage before entering string bean a couple of times. (I never mentioned the jabba the hut reference to him- that will be our little secret). |

He is 11 1/2 so I am expecting a growth spurt any time now. He does play soccer 3 days a week and does Jiu Jitsu 2, but other than that he is watching TV or playing on a computer or a video game. He eats like a horse though. We ordered a pizza after soccer last night and my husband stopped and picked it up on his way home. I ate 2 slices. My son ate 6. |

It is tough these days to roust them from the computer/tv/video syndrome. Is your weather as nice as ours today? If so, have him go with you to take the dogs for a romp. I used to make the kids try to run as fast as the dog for a certain distance (eg. to the next tree). Everyone got a good workout in. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Happy Ghouliversary! Pick your poison in the month of October It is altogether too quiet in the village. Today was the SoJo Marathon that I help direct. I am so tired that I can't sleep. What's up with that? I hope everyone is doing ok. Sounds like the weather at Robin's is pouring. And my favorite kind of pouring to boot. Ann, I hope you saved a margarita for me! I'll be there ASAP Robin, just gotta get some sleep first. |

Come on and rest in the hammock. We will rescue the margarita if it starts to fall when you go to sleep! |

We need some Ghoulies to show up here! |
