You must understand the O2 deprivation cracker has gone through in trying to swim. The end result is dementia that causes scary rants revolving around college football. He's harmless....in an escaped-mental-patient-with-no-meds sort of way.

Haaaaahahahahaha! OK that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification!

Hmmm. That explains it. As for where I live, Savannah - the more beautiful, stinky side in Georgia - was home for over a year.

Renee,

Let it be known that Georgia (Posers) People will heretofore be known as the Georgia Shockers.

Hey...just be thankful it's not burrito-related. I know I am.

southernaquagoddess - 2005-11-16 5:02 PM You don't REALLY have to wear a Gamecock jersey....and I live on the SC/GA border, so I'm a bulldawg fan as well. But we can't be called the Chicken Wahoos! It sounds like the newest thing at Taco Bell.
Well..No Sh%$!! What kind of Mickey Mouse BS team have I ended up being a part of anyway? Watergirl whining like a girl about "I don't wanna wear a Gamecock jersey". Get naked who cares?? Wear what you want just stop whining!! Goddess trying to claim dual citizenship between SC and Ga. Make up your mind there Hemingway. The last I knew you lived on the side of the Sav river that doesn't smell like skunk flattulance and that would be the SC side. OK there Sparky!! And why in the hell is somebody from Athens fr323ggin Ga doing on our team anyway? Shouldn't you be hangin' with UGA the dog who is really the illigitimate son of Vince Dooley and Tammy Faye Baker. And whats up with this albino white boy from SIMI Ca. who wants to give us the Paul Harvey rest of the story on the word Wahoo and the Univ of Va. HEY, we don't care. A wahoo is a %$#@^ fish as in swimming, as in swimming fast. OK I'm going off to be depressed for a while. You people get this damn place squared away!! Carry on.

OMG.... the silent roaring laughter days are back.

Thanks, Gullah. That was priceless.

Hey watergirl...you still have an open invitation to join the Shockers. You can wear what you want and we won't beat up on you. We'll leave the smack talkin' for those other lame-*** teams.

Hey Renee Us up in the frozen part of the world would like to know if cross country skiing across the lake will count as an OW (outdoor swim) if we have it GPS measured? We are pretty tough up here.

Tough would be breaking through the ice and then doing an OWS . Actually, I guess we're all wimps down here because it's reached below 50 degrees and there's no way I'm going in a lake!

I mean honestly you can't blame him, he got stuck with the Ol' Ball Coach, just get 3 years probation.  Poor old gamecock fans, have nothing to play for or with, minus themselves.

I'm a newbie. The only time I've used a wetsuit is for SCUBA diving. And at my first - and only so far - sprint tri, the water was yucky warm - in the 80 degree range. What's this ice stuff you speak of?

I`ve just been laying low since I lost the spedo poll (I will repeat that my approval rating was higher than GW`s). Wanted to let everyone get over thier speedo envy before I made a comeback.

Steven, I think maybe we could allow it if you do the skiing in your speedo. Best to ask the Rules Committee (me) after the Rules Committee has had a few beers.

I think the rules committee should let us use wetsuits on the cross country skiiing since the water temp is below the USTA regulations. On a serious note - what does a team captian have to do?

Ice is that cold stuff you put into warm drinks to cool them down. In some parts of the country, people use it for other forms of entertainment, like snow skiing, ice-fishing, and demolition derby.

HAH! Speak for yourself! At IMFL, Jessica and I 'met' a group of IMwannabe's at the Saturday swim. We had swum out to the 3rd buoy. They said they assumed we were IMwannabe's too because we were swimming in the cold water in just our speedo's!

Florida chicks are tough!! Tough, I tell ya!!!

I need a banana. Blood sugar a little low.
