NRG42 - 2012-07-26 4:27 PM Plans are unorganized and most of the group has had too many cocktails, sigh. Should I stay in or get ready and go out?

Ah, a typical Vegas situation with visitors.  All too used to it.  My name for it is "herding cats" - (no, not a Kido original, but I liked it)

Ya, I don't like animals and hearding them not my thing. Ok, on the couch with boy shorts and tank top and might even turn on the tv? Maybe its an excuse so I don't have to do the whole miracle of beauty thing too.

I'm doing a tempo run if you want to join in.

Give me boy shorts and a tank before the beauty thing any day...  Well, almost any day.  The wife can put together a retro beauty thing that will knock your socks off.

Running is not on my list of "safe" activities?Boy shorts and tank tops......you know I would have no problem pulling this off at a lounge, but for some reason it is frowned upon :-(

Depends on the lounge!  I see close to that here in Vegas.  And that's the standard go go dancer uniform.

Well, looks like both of us have a night in front of the TV in our undies planned...  (I'm lying - I do wear running shorts and T around the house with my flip flops)

I'm going to go and beat myself up at crossfit ... then hope that the cute fire fighter boy shows up for the mobility class .. we are still working feet and ankles .. and my feet look FANTASTIC (as compared to the last time)  If anything I can stare at him and fantasize.

Sounds like the winning night at this point. I love cute toes.

Man, I forgot how painful LT test are! I don't run that hard unless I'm racing. Still 183 though. Who says it goes down with age! Maybe dropped 1 if at all in 6 years.

TAN I have a burping problem when I run. I'm embarrassed to post it in TT.

Tonight I took 2 Gas-x's before my ride (7:15 p.m.) and started my run at 9:15 p.m. When I run, I burp a CRAZY amount of air up. I have to stop sometimes because food will come up with it. And I eat 2-3 hours before running. These are deep, full burps and lots of times I would describe it as dry-heave-burping, many burps strung together without control.

I have not changed my diet. This started about 2 months ago. Part of me thinks it might be time of day - I've moved all my runs to after dinner when the sun goes down to avoid the 100+ degree weather. That's the only thing I can think of that's changed in my eating or training habits.

Any ideas on what else I can do???

Sorry ladies.  Can't help.  I have a totally unrelated throat issues/spasms that make me choke sometimes when I'm eating.  I often think it's how I'm going to die...  Oh well!

BUT, I don't mind the burping.  You guys are STILL sexxeh.
