Cool! I was thinking I could use a challenge, I am still nursing PF as well just starting to walk/run well mostly walk and hope to add the run in soon so I will say 3x a week for me since it is more about the time than the distance right now. Thanks for setting this up!

Just a quick update... we've got 95 BTers signed up... WOW! Plus enough entries for two newbies teams and a TAN team

There is gonna have to be a few teams to accommodate everyone without making it hard to track for each of the team leaders... I have all the special requests noted...

If anyone else still wants to enter you still have time... its not October yet!!! Teams up... AM Monday (USA Time)

Happy running!

If they like,  I would be happy and proud to have them all.  They are a great bunch (except for Comet he eats too much) and will do any team proud.

Sign me up, and sign up Patti too, since we'll both be walking together.  My foot is too messed up to run.  I'll go with walking mileage and put us down for 75 miles each for the month.  that will be 15 more miles than we did in September, but it's a challenge, right?  BTW, we don't necessarily have to be on the same team together, but I'll leave it up to you.

Max:  75 miles
PT Cruzer:  75 miles

She doesn't know I volunteered her...this should be interesting!

If it's not too late, I'd like to join as well.  I'm a newbie to the challenges, and I'd like to run 35 miles in October.  Previous months have been 20 & 25 miles, but I signed up for my first 10K in December, so I need to get more mileage in and get more comfortable with running.  I'm still run/walking most of my mileage at this point.

Comet,  Ya know I love ya,  you little whippersnapper you.

Tritwin,  I will try to hit up Skirtboy.  We can have a little AB challenge on the side once the teams get set up.  I am sure Comet could use some AB work as well...

Would love to join....only time I ever get consistent training in is when I subject myself to the peer pressure associated with the challenges...starting from square 1...put me down for 42 miles.  I am starting the Hal Higdon 30-week marathon tomorrow so this challenge will be perfect to "make" me start strong.

This is my first challenge so count me in. I hate running and the totals for last month stink. I really need a push to get the mileage up so put me in for 45 miles.  It's a BIG stretch for me but this may be just the thing I need!!!!
