just back in from a two miler, 5.5 total so far. i think i should have joined a challenge a lot sooner. it seems to get me motivated a whole lot more when others are relying on me. i promise i will make my goal.

Does all of my mileage from October count so far? Or does it only count from when I joined the team? I hope all of Oct counts, got some good miles in this week.

i saw someone suggest on the main thread that late joiners shouldn't be able to count their miles before they officially started the challenge - but i think that's unfair and will ask the head "moderator" who started the whole thing.

i think that they count, especially since several teams (if not all) had people join them late so the playing field is still level.

Just wanted to let the team know there have been a bit of confusion about anyone that joined the challenge late (I think you had one late addition!). Mileage for any late entrants will be counted from the beginning of October so goals should be set taking this into account!

Thanks Cat

Great! Thank you for clarification, good to know it all counts! And since it does, my goal will stay at 36 miles for the month of October.

comet the dog - 2007-10-06 8:30 PM why oh why cant i get our team list to work properly in my log page. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you've already tried this, but try copying the group below and pasting it in your goals page. Maybe my group will work. The Team Living Dead heading is a link to our thread, so copy it too. Update. Close the window. Come back in again in a new window to see if it worked.

If it still refuses to copy/paste, then you can do it the slow, annoying way by opening two Explorer windows, going to your log in one of them and going to each of our log pages in the other. You could go to mine and use my links - it might make it a bit faster. Type our screen names in your log page, select them, click the little chain in the edit toolbar (a popup box will come up), then switch over to our log pages and select the web address from the address bar. Copy it, then go back to your page and paste the web addy into the appropriate box on the little popup screen. I usually choose to have the link open in another window. You'll have to repeat this for each person, but it works.

Thanks! So I am assuming we don't need to send in weekly totals? Going out to do another 3 this morning! I went to mapmyrun.com and mapped out a perfect 3 mile loop in my neighborhood.

Hey, Saling4, my dear LD Captain!  You want me to send via e-mail my totals, or will you just grab them from my logs?  Whatever makes it easy for you.

WELCOME ABOARD,  EXCITED2TRI!

Comet -  If you're having troubles with the list yet, are you using IE, Firefox, ???  Remember to allow Java/Javascript and scripting to run in the browser, and/or do a refresh.

I have a feeling that any Midwesterner had some problems with motivation this weekend due to the humidity.  Let's stay focused team and get out there!
