It always comes back to busting on poor, sensitive Rynamite.

Can't someone just be nice to me for once?

Consider it motivation. Or tough love. Whatever works for ya.

Do you REALLY want the other teams to beat us Ryan?

We win this thing, TAN will go beyond being a COJ phenomenon and become BT legend.

You will be able to razz a huge number of people about being lame at running. Think about it.

I've never lost a personal or team challenge on BT. I'm batting .1000 and I'm counting on you and everyone else on the TAN team to do their part.

Oh don't worry about me, I'm gonna crush my pledge. People will be calling me a sandbagger after this.

I  believe you

He has no choice.  The Dark Master will crush him if he does not.

I headed out at lunch and did my first run of the month and I am reminded (Again) how much I hate this part of Tapering.

Did a proper recovery run. 4 miles @ Recovery Pace and the legs were just getting warmed up. Don't know what the legs are going to do with all of this extra free time in the next two weeks

I guess I just gotta stick with the plan

About to log 5 miles. It's sunny and cool out. Who could ask for anything more? Testing out the new shoes today to see if they'll work for the marathon Sunday. Hey can I count my marathon miles toward this challenge? Or is it strictly training-only.

I ran again today instead of swimming.  2.28 miles and I ran outside for the first time since the stress fracture.  I feel sooo slow!  I felt like I could go faster, but I'm almost afraid to because I don't want to get injured again.

Dear Spokes,

Thank you so much for the donuts. We enjoyed them. It gave us ENERGY to go run some more.

In return, we would like to present you and your team with these lucious POISON APPLES.

Enjoy!

P.S. Yes, I'm wondering if coming into this pack of werewolves is a good idea. I feel like Little Red Riding Hood taunting the Big Bad Wolf. But hey, I'm already displaying a Twinkietar, so how much worse can things get? LOL (The East Team didn't win the Sept. Challenge. Our penalty is to wear Twinkie avatars for the month. Ugh!)

P.P.S. Good luck to everyone on the Challenge. But, I'm gonna say it here anyway --> GO POISON APPLES! Woohooo! Newbies Rule!

And now.... Watch how fast I can run away. LOL!

We want you to make goal... not set records or get injured doing so. Be careful!

Hey man at least I had the decency to give your team beer for your carb dose of the day... I will admit that Coors Light is a poor beer but you gave us doughnuts. What type of trade off is that?
