No skill needed. There's no rule with "skill needed". |

Iron Donkey 38643 , Wisconsin | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts LazyMarathoner - 2008-10-07 9:11 PM I am ashamed to admit that I'm watching the debate and I'm thoroughly bored. I feel like all politicians just lie and say what you want to hear so it's kind of pointless to watch. You know they're lying when they open their fat trap. |

In her spare time she has been known to do a fine imitation of certain team members (not naming any names here )in a valiant post padding effort that ended in TOPPAGE! Judi found ufo’s in her fridge (I wonder if there was any sign of alien life in the ufo’s and wow she must have a pretty big fridge – how did they land?) I know, I know – it’s unidentified food object – LOL! The un-named can never be duplicated nor replicated! Kristin (LazyMarathoner) – ... she had a big glass of wine ate some cheap take out... hahahahahaha - that just sounds totally wrong. hahahahahahahaha |

Beth how was the fancy dinner last night? Judy - take care of that foot. Glad it's doing better. Cat - stop trying to scare us with the workouts. You know that the BT women do them SHE LIVES!!! |

Iron Donkey 38643 , Wisconsin | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts lastcall2003 - 2008-10-08 8:45 AM Dark Arts notes – Volume 5 The day started off a little slow, in fact Beth finally got toppage as well! The day was crawling by for at least 3 of the team members – the others must have been working hard There was some interesting conversation around the debates – I wasn’t around to watch the debate, but from reading the recap, the conversation among the Dark Arts team members was far more interesting. Not to mention the fact that everyone played by the rules Lots of cool discussion around first tri’s and how people got into the sport – and yes, we are all crazy, but in a good way!
Steve (AccidentalChef)- no Steve sightings lately Melissa (BunnyB) – must have had a busy day at work as well – from the sounds of it things are HOT in Cali! Emily (esc) – as a member of the tri community she has many friends that look at her cross eyed when she talks about tris (that’s why you have us ) Apparently Reese’s pumpkins are even more delicious than regular Reese’s peanut butter cup – say it isn’t so! (btw, the picture did look a little strange Cat (kaqphin)- is 5’ 2 ½” tall, just in case you were wondering – now I’d have to say that Phil would look freakishly tall if he was standing next to Cat – lol! Will be cleaning her fridge and pantry since her flatmate is away – apparently he drives her nuts if she tries to do it while he’s there. Cat’s fascination with American food and holidays continues with the comment about the Reese’s pumpkin Kendra (kns57)- had a busy night at the library, but sounds like it will be quieter for her today and she should get a bit more caught up on her posting Beth (lastcall2003)- went out for a fancy dinner at a restaurant called Tangerine. Sadly, will not be posting any Fay Raye pics as they were immediately deleted – they were AWFUL! Matt (mdb) – Matt got in a nice bike and swim yesterday – perhaps a nice run in those new shoes is on tap for today! Judi (QueenZipp) – while she can’t post with us during the day, she does peek in to see what’s going on. Kathrin (ratkat) – her workout schedule was disrupted because of meetings – I hate it when that happens! She also dropped the bomb that for those of us who follow published standards for exercise, women now have to workout 5 times a week for 60 mins. She also shared her great success and her strategy for increasing her fitness and losing weight – WTG! Travis (tlnewman)- sounds like Travis and his wife will be really pushing each other next year with a full race schedule already planned! He and Judi discussed the finer points of post padding while talking to yourself in the thread Sharon (zeefraugtries) – ugh, poor Sharon, her leg is still bothering her – I’m sure she could use some inspires and cheery thoughts! Kristin (LazyMarathoner) – had a busy day at work, got an extension on a project (so now she should have more time to post………………), she had a big glass of wine ate some cheap take out, watched the debates
BUMP - Thanks TinkerBeth!!!! |
