Well I figured out how to persuade my computer to connect to the proper router.

I am going to fold my clothes and head to bed.

I just spent an hour (that I should have spent sleeping) digging through my room looking for a pad of worksheets.  I never found them.

This sucks.

kaqphin - 2009-01-12 4:59 PM Im sure unpacking the box at the other end wont be as much fun for Dave without you Mel...

It will probably take just as long to unpack everything. The bike is very well protected.

It will be in the box for a while. It is going to his parents house in Ohio and he is going to Madison, WI. It will sit around for at least a few weeks.

Is he moving to Madison?

Yes, he is going to pursue his PhD at U of W-Madison...U of W(Washington) didn't work out(after putting 4 years into it).

That sucks.  I can't imagine starting over after 4 years.

Wisconsin is a great school (did my undergrad in Molecular Bio and Biochem there) and Madison is an awesome city.  Lots of bikers and runners.

And IM Moo!!  And I'm in that area - what more can you say?!

I found them-they were in a folder in my backpack that I thought was empty-over the last three days I must have spent 3 hours looking for them.  Undecided

The short version of my doctor's appointment is that I have a combination of problems with my ITB and kneecap that are causing pain.  At this point, I don't need surgery, but depending on how I respond, they may need to do something arthroscopically later.

That's decent news right?  As in at least you don't have to have surgery right now.

Yep.  It's good news for now.  The only part I am frustrated about is that I don't have a definitive diagnosis.  I would feel a little better if I knew what exactly was going on.

So what's the next step now?  How are they having you treat it?

Today was supposed to be a swim day for me. Inbetween meetings I was going to go to the pool. Got out to my car and no swim bag. It is still sitting at home on the kitchen table all packed and ready. Bummer. So I did 3 miles around the park instead. Now to cool down and not look sweaty at my 7pm presentation.

Wait a minute. Didn't you get your room all clean just last week? Everything has a place and was put in it?
