My husband is too busy at work to go with me, I don't think I want to drive to Atlanta by myself, my knee is sore, I haven't been training. The list of reasons go on and on. I'm disappointed, but I think it's for the best. |

Glad you're able to keep the purse. Recycled seatbelts sound really cool. kaqphin - 2010-03-16 6:15 PM Artemis - 2010-03-17 1:15 AM Nibbs, my morning has been less than stellar. Do not throw your coffee cup in your purse when it is open and is not empty. It creates a bad morning for you and panic as you realize your wallet and iPhone are now covered in coffee, sugar, and cream. Not to mention my purse had a giant puddle that I dumped out at a stop light. Looks like the phone is ok, though, so that's a win. Oh no! Glad the phone is ok - time to go shopping for a new purse? No. It's actually made out of recycled seatbelts and very durable. I can send it back to the company and they will professionally clean it for $20, which is what I'm going to do. I love the purse and have only had it for less than a month. It doesn't look like anything is stained too badly. My wallet was pretty dark and you can't really tell except that it smells like coffee. I switched wallets to let it dry out. It's true. The car doesn't really smell, either. Here's where I get my purses (and specifically the one I dumped coffee in): http://www.seatbeltbags.com/tolocoto.html |

I went out with three of my girls to go dress shopping. I need a dress for L's rehearsal dinner and SL needed a dress for L's wedding. I found an adorable faux-wrap dress, but SL didn't find anything, so we get to do it again. Then we went out for dinner and drinks. It was great. I really needed it. Obviously, I need to spend more time on Nibbs because I don't know what event this is.... Irish Creme flavored coffee? Ummmmm. That sounds good. Today is also going better. Got some sleep, resisted the urge for a bacon egg and cheese McGriddle (yogurt instead) and Irish Creme flavored coffee. I don't know if I mentioned it. My good friend is getting married April 17th. I am playing viola in her wedding, so I need a dress for both the wedding (ordered) and the rehearsal dinner (purchased). Now I just need to practice more. Tried to find a pic of the dress I just bought, but couldn't find it. I'm wearing this dress (in graphite) to the actual wedding: http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WeddingParties/Wedding_Bridesmaid/dresses/silkchiffon/PRDOVR~97893/97893.jsp Her bridesmaids are wearing chiffon dresses from J Crew in pale pink and the flower girl (our friend who is 24) is wearing a different dress in graphite like me. And the Irish Creme coffee was delicious. |

My energy bars have rolled oats (certified gluten free), shredded coconut, peanut butter, pumpkin puree, a bit of maple syrup, chopped pecans, raisins, a bit of cinnamon and a dash of salt. They are in the oven right now. I'll know how they turn out in twenty minutes or so. The bit I licked off of my hands tasted good though. |
