kaburns1214 - 2012-06-07 12:01 PM Since we're in kit mode.  Here are the revised designs for the purring hedgehog kit (the shorts and the back of the top -- the front of the top was too big to post here).  Thoughts?

Can you get me a pink or purple one???

I like these Kelly, you are doing a great job on them.

Hey friends,

Just been "out of it" lately.  So haven't really posted.  Good luck to Scott and Jen this weekend. You'll both do great. (and anyone else I missed)

Kelly, love the cycling kit, and the Tri kit gets better and better everytime you post an update.  I like it.

kidtri33 - 2012-06-07 10:37 AM So a question for the guys out there...So I see some manufacturers have say a medium is a 40" chest and a large is 42". My issue is I measure 41". Which way would you go when you are between sizes?

Interesting how everyone is so different. I'm 5' 9", 156 pounds.  Zoot tops I have to wear a large top, Medium bottom. Desoto medium top, medium bottom.  LG Medium Top, Small bottom.  Weird!!!

Yea I agree on weird and the manufacturers are all over the place on how they size...Desoto I wear a large bottom(large thighs and BMAS tend to make me go up a size) and a medium top. I am big on trying things on because of my "odd" shape, but when you are limited about where you can get things I look for easy return policies which most folks who sell Tri gear do have

the top is locked in.  Have one outstanding question on the shorts but they are pretty much solid.

The hedgehog is a boy.  His name is Eisel (as in Bernie Eisel).

1 Hr 20 min ZR ride this morning.  Not so sure it was an intelligent move. It was very foggy at 5:30 this morning, but thought it would burn off quickly.  That never happened. 53 degrees. I was cold as the fog and mist made me wet.  Ughhhh.  And cycling on back roads in the fog, def gets me the idiot move of the day!!

Strongly considering Timberman 70.3.  The only thing holding me back is the disc issues I am still having in my neck and back. I'm afraid of spending $300 for a race right now, only to find out I can't do the race.  So my question is, does this race sell out and can I wait till like mid July to decide? Race is August 19th in New Hampshire. Thoughts?

Waiting on a new oven to be delivered sometime today.

Went riding with a couple of friends Wednesday evening. It really reinforced how far I've come, as one was a complete rookie when it comes to cycling and the other was just a step above that. We were on MTB's on the bike path along the Bosque. Went 14 miles at a painfully slow pace, but sometimes it's not about the training, it's about the social aspect and being with friends. Also encouraging others to push themselves can be as rewarding as anything.

Historically the race has sold out early because it was (once upon a time) the only 70.3 in New England.  When WTC took over they expanded the nubmer of spots at Timberman and added a ton of races in the North East so now it does not sell out as quickly (or at all).  If you are looking at that time frame have you thought about Pumpkinman?  Probably the best un race I've ever been to.  Kat Donatello is my RD idol.

I really need to make it up to NE to race.  So many good yet somewhat vague memories from being a 5 year old up there (lived in Kingston, NH, grandparents lived in West Falmouth, MA, vacationed on Lake Winnipesaukee).
