Good morning all.  Hope everyone made it safe and sound.  To those still traveling please travel safe.  Had a good day yesterday.  Walked the beach, checked out transition, Pineapple Willie's for lunch, Saltwater Grill for dinner.  The Saltwater grill was some nice higher end food but was overpriced for what it was.  However, they have a 25,000 aquarium in the center of the restaurant so I thought my kid would enjoy that.

Going to go register today.  I was told by someone who talked to the Ironman staff and they said to come around 2:00pm or so.  I guess everyone in the world lines up to register in the morning and they are pretty dead after lunch.

Still debating a swim this morning.  I will be out swimming Thursday and Friday although I am not sure what time as my brother wants to come swim with me.  Otherwise I guess I will start sorting my gear and packing my transition bags.  Good luck to all.

Had the last "official" workout last night.  40 minutes on bike & 15 minute run.  Nice & easy.  Hardly broke a sweat.

Packing tonight, leaving Jax first thing tomorrow, in PCB around lunch!

I can't wait!!!!

I'm leaving Tampa between 4-5am Thursday morning (want to be able to make it to PCB for the BT lunch) If anyone needs a ride, or need something brought up, let me know, I'm available. I'm driving a mini van with only my wife and daughter as company so I have space available for anyone who needs a last minute ride or anything else I can fit in it. Will be driving up I-75 and then west on I-10. Planning in arriving prior to noon.

For the road, in case of an emergency, my cell # is (813) 215-7062.

Take care everyone. See you tomorrow.

Ramon (Ray) Perez
US Coast Guard.

jjcnbg - 2009-11-03 7:04 I have met some very nice people so far but there are a lot of pumped up people in spandex riding/running around.  In addition, it looks like the Shores must be the go to spot for oversea's competitors because I have never seen so many speedo's in my life.  That's all for now, I am going to get back to a little relaxing.

Arrived today to a beautiful day in PCB.  We are staying at the Shores also...and I laughed when I read your post.  I thought my family and the staff were the only English speaking "folks" here.  Hope to run into you and chat a little
.

Well.  Look for the USA Flag at the Summit from the beach. That is Mr Steve's place.

See everyone tomorrow for the swim.

Mr Steve

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Tide...there is a tide difference here. It looks like a bathtub.
