Master 1832 Elgin, IL | Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 - CLOSED Because I have never done an IM that just sounds like craziness! A run after 8-9 hours of destroying your body is easier than a solo run? Doesn't make sense, but I still think you would have more fun with us at MCM ... Come be a rabbit for us then MCM will be a fun run for me |

Master 1832 Elgin, IL | Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 - CLOSED Second outdoor run of the year (outside of Disney), yesterday was the first. 64 degrees, 28-37 mph winds!!! It felt awesome and I didn't once grumble about the headwinds. It was kinda cool getting pushed by the tailwind!!!
Back to 30-40 degree this weekend, argh .... |

Extreme Veteran 3020 | Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 - CLOSED Left the house at 4:40 a.m. to make it to the pool for a 2500m swim this morning. Hubs won't be home until very late tonight. I wanted to get in one more swim this week. Anything before 5, which is when I usually get up, just feels insane to me. Cold water felt great, and I feel totally refreshed now! Will probably try to squeeze in a recovery ride after the kids go to bed tonight. |

The beach has areas marked off with buoys for swimmers, too. Can't wait to transition to OWS. I am sensitive to the chlorine, and my eczema and sinuses are affected badly. |

That's fantastic that you actually have a group to meet! Last summer I just had to log my OWS practice by time. It will be really nice to know how far and how fast I've gone this summer. Got the 910, too, and I think it works wonderfully. |

I am still taking it. I never went back to the dr. For the second cold and it worked out well. It comes as 30 packets in a box and you just mix with water.Just a thought |

its not as simple as calories-in-calories-out, but this is hard to believe. Unfortunately it is mostly calories in calories out. We've had that debate umteen times, however. |

You can upload a video into a photo album but, as far as I know, you can't embed a video a forum thread itself. Once in your photo album, you can put a link in the thread.
If I remember correctly, Mike (marmadaddy) said that it has to do with the ability to render the site on mobile devices along with copyright concerns that prevents them from allow it. |

Extreme Veteran 3020 | Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 - CLOSED Got in some more time on the trainer this morning. I'll be doing a long ride tomorrow morning, and then I'm taking Sunday off to travel a few hours for my niece's first birthday party. Some of my kids are sick, so we'll see who will be making the trip with me. I'm also booking a flight to Chicago for the weekend of the Cleveland 10-miler. I take each child on a solo trip to Chicago when they're in Pre-k. Looks like Madge is up. Since I can't race in the 10-miler this year, I thought it would be the perfect weekend to get out of here! |
