Surprised that with all the testing they are going through that some medical supplier didn't pick them up (ie Abbott, HenrySchrein, BD, etc) 

OKay, so Amy and I are discussing a possible ride tomorrow.  When I presented concern of flies on route near lake she texted "Ha. I laugh @ de flies.  Ha"  

Hmmm.... me thinks maybe we should head to lake so she can get some laugh therapy in?

Maybe they can put a rinse through or something that enhances yuor natural colour for something different?

Or maybe use highlights closer to your natural shade so that it grows out more 'naturally'?

Or you can just do what Cat does, and dye it purple.

I've done that before.  It would match the purple stuff on my bike, though, so it might be worth it.   

Slipstream rolls of the tongue better than Garmin. 

Yeah, the ride hurt last year.  I managed to make it up the whole way, but it was a lot of work.  

The run is hard, especially the first part.  Lots of roots and things to trip over.  I ended up rolling my ankle towards the end as I was heading back to the finish line.  My goal this year is to beat last year's time.  I think it will be doable.

The hill is making me think I am not using the tri bike.  Not enough time to practice hills on it before the race. 

Also, I had a smoothie with soymilk in it and I think I'm having an allergic reaction to it.  I'm kind of allergic to soy, but usually don't react.  My ears and throat are itchy.   

Waiting for the Benadryl to kick in.  Might not get in a ride today if this gets any worse... 

Ummm, yeah, that's not a good reaction. If you get short of breath hit the nearest ER!

My husband was doing a lot of housework when I got back from the ride today.  With his help we cleaned the downstairs pretty well.  I vacuumed under the dishwasher and found the toy Mocha came home with almost  2 years ago.  He has been playing with it all afternoon, I think he's glad to see it. 

Have to take C shopping tonight for a pair of shoes for the "wedding" and a new bathing suit...
