Fencing is pretty awesome. Maybe it's because it's so late (or early), but it's really entertaining. haha i havent seen any..... you may be loosing your mind.... and I just watched the women's 10meter.... Air Rifle. Yes, air rifle. Ummm....... welll.... ummm.... Yeah... that about sums it up. I do like watching people win things, so it was pretty entertaining. haha lets just say with a house full of people no one seems to be that impressed with the fact i have been on the couch for 4.5 hours hogging the tv and watcing bikes which is apparently boring... In fact the flatmate was whining about how he bought a tv and doesnt get to watch it... its not like i didnt warn him... Im going to have to tape and watch the womens road race later.... like during the week I think (leave the house and stay away tomorrow maybe) |

Me likey that much, much better. And the weather was drop dead gorgeous. Cooler with low humidity. I almost felt like I wasn't in the South! Hope everyone is having a great Saturday. I'm going to get de-skankified and watch some Olympics |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Nibbs XXII So my freaking aerobars just fell off the bike about 4 miles away from the end of my ride today. Got the bike mechanic on site to fix them once I got back to the start area. Question, one of the caps is missing from the bars, they're the profile design bars that look like the bars in spin class. I know USAT is tight on bar end caps for the handle bars, are these in the same category? They end under my bars with nothing extending anywhere but I need to know if I have to hunt down a cap for them..... It was hard, very hard. Details in my blog. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Nibbs XXII I had a good ride today. A little slow because I was riding with a group with a new rider and we had to stop a lot. She kept telling us we could leave without her, but I really don't like doing that. I ripped another pair of shorts, but finally figured out why. There's a tiny burr in the metal on my seat clamp and it's catching on the fabric. I think I can repair these because it's ripped in a different spot. Lots of black thread will be needed. Now I'm sunburned, too. It was fun though. There was a pig roast/picnic afterwards. |

A secret for parking at 3Sports: I drive past it and turn down the side street near the beauty salon closer to the church. I usually park on the side street and then go in the back door. It's usually a lot easier to get in and out. |

I am usually that rider that everyone is waiting on, that's why I don't ride in groups much it's kind of a catch 22, I know I would get faster if I rode with a group, but I always feel bad about holding them back no ride for me today - I only got about 3 hrs of sleep last night and woke up with a headache - just wasn't in the cards |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Nibbs XXII I'm sure you are faster - we were averaging 13 mph or less if she was riding with us. Also, I don't quite understand her training strategy. She decided it was better to spend her time "sprinting" about 10 miles to get faster. But she can't ride more than about 25 miles before she's completely exhausted. She didn't believe me that she would get faster if she worked on riding more. <sigh> |
