I did some investigating (which included me flushing by pulling that chain and the some hose that's usually clipped to something got loose and ohhhhh did water fly EVERYWHERE) and I discovered that the plastic thinger that attaches the flusher handle thingy to the plug via the chain thing is busted. Uh...anyone know what that's called? Are there multiple sizes/styles of them or can I just waltz into Home Depot and ask for a new Dealy Whop and they'll know what I mean? They'll know what you mean. There are different styles but they are all right there in the plumbing section. |

Apparently I'm an aggressive flusher. *snerk* Surprised you didn't break the chain or the flap first. I would think you need to get a whole new handle for the outside because that plastic thing on the inside is all attached and don't believe they can be purchased separately. |
