Personals worked beautifully for me moving out here. Between that and Fitness Singles, I got dates with like 7 different women the first couple of months I was out here, including the Blonde. And I got lucky more than once Tried the whole online thing, and I guess I'm just not as smooth as Ryna, because I very rarely got emails back, and the only girl who I ever actually met in person...well, I think you guys have heard me talk about her more than once. That's right 10. And the first two I clicked on aren't members, so if you want to email them you have to figure out the hidden clues from their profiles. That's just ridiculous.

Maybe that is PA vs. IA??? I can't imagine that you're NOT a great catch in IA.... He doesn't have the population base in the Quad Cities to work with that Ryna has in PA... or that I have here in Sacramento (we've got what, 2+ million in the metro?). Plus midwestern chicks are more uptight. I really forgot how uptight (in comparison to Cali) everyone is back home in Iowa. Actually uptight isn't the biggest problem. And hey, no offense to any single-unwed mothers who may be reading TAN, but 80% of the girls my age on those things have kid(s) and I'm just not ready for insta-fam. |
