Subject: RE: TAN #11: Shamelessly Pad Your Post Count Here!lvthgme - 2007-11-13 1:37 PM K, so I have a lunch meeting at Panera today. I ate there yesterday as well (oops). Yesterday I had the black bean soup. Yum. Today I'm looking at the soups of the day and I begin to wonder what the nutritional situation is on these...as well as the salads and sandwiches. So...I pulled up their nutritional info. HOLY MOTHER OF MARY! I knew lots of things there weren't great for you but...it's insane. I'll probably either get the same soup today or splurge and get Broccoli Cheddar but STILL be under fat/calories of almost any other option. I get so sick of everyone BLAH BLAH BLAHING how great that place is. I can eat better (for me) at McDonald's!
Yeah, I've realized that about lots of restaurants. Panera drives me crazy. People THINK it's healthy, but the food is all really bad for you. As far as soup, I usually get the french onion or whatever is labeled as the low fat one (usually chicken noodle or veggie). They're both pretty good. I usually end up needing a healthy snack later in afternoon, but at least I'm not getting all of my daily fat in one meal.
