Thank you. It was my 1st, and awesome! Finished in 14, and I am happy with that.

Could have had a better plan, or understanding of the run I think ... and not thrown up on T2 but hey its all good.

Hokas, grapes, and chicken broth saved my as*.

Who said that run course is flat?

Congrats to all that finished. I volunteered in T1 which was really fun. Had a great day cheering on all the athletes. My dad came with me and was amazed by the whole experience. Signed up for next year and look forward to training and getting pointers from everybody here.

Yes, congratulations to all finishers! I'm looking for a better word than "inspirational" and the thesaurus just aint cutting it.

Encourispirational. (nope) Inspouraging. (not quite) Well I've got a year to work on it...

I signed up for the 2015 St. George 70.3 and the 2015 IM-Madison (after doing Chi-Tri previously) based on the love and energy and sheer will I witnessed as a volunteer at the 2014 Im-Moo.

Some site talk:
love the training plans and training logs on this site but the nutrition log is clunky and cumbersome. I invite anybody with any input to share thoughts...

Congrats to everyone and thank you to all the volunteers there! They were totally awesome! I even had my own personal T1 assistant. Pretty kick I signed up for 2015 IMWI even though I said I was going to take 1-2 years off. The crowd and experience there was just too great and I couldn't pass it up after I saw they still had spots open.

I was in the moment, living a dream and on top of the whole world! Honestly, I wish everyone could experience that feeling because it truly cannot be described.

If you would have told me that I would want to train over ten hours a week for a race that can last up to 17 hours, I would have laughed. But somehow, my ACL injury has refocused my outlook on life.

I was not an official; I simply observed the race and the officials doing their thing. Here is what I saw:

It makes no sense to train hard for a year to hone that aerobic system only to have all that training undermined by a few anaerobic bursts on race day. So, how do you go about it?

TriLover recently had the opportunity to interview Tim and Nicole. Read what the DeBooms had to say about triathlon, their support for each other and life.
