Want to get as far north as humanly possible on Friday so I'll have a chance to do some sort of exercise on Saturday and get to packet pick up and all that stuff.barqhead - 2008-06-04 8:18 PM I'm at home trying not to mindlessly graze. There really isn't much to eat since I haven't gone to the store. No point since we are leaving Friday morning. that has been one advantage of living alone in my apartment - grazing is not possible if there's no food - LOL what time do you leave on Friday? sounds like a good plan - how far do you have to drive? UGH!!!! I think I'd be on the road at 5:00 am... I know, I'm psycho |

I just ate a sandwich (no naked lunch meat - dressed tonight). But I should probably tuck a gu in my pocket, just in case. Oh, and when I was running today, my gel fell out of my pocket. I found it on my 2nd loop and ate it. Is that wrong? |

I had a Banana Hammer Gel from my race this weekend. It was gross. I have considered eating Gu when I have sugar cravings. But I usually end up raiding the Monkey's candy stash instead. |

I'm a CarBoom girl. I like the apple cinnamon and orange creme. Those and clif blocks will be my main fuel during Mooseman. CarBooms have a slightly higher calorie count, with 1 serving =110 calories. And I don't have any GI issues on the run like I do with Accel gels (blech). Never thought about eating a gel during a sugar craving. Maybe that would kill the craving, lol. |
