Sorry I haven't been around much... life is crazy both at work and home will update later when more time.... though maybe if I have more time I will actually get a workout in... HA!!! Sorry about everyone's tears today... I lost my "puppy" just a few months before her 16th birthday... (and a few months after my 16th b-day) we were only 10 months apart.... yep, she was like a sister to me... I remember leaving La the day after Christmas 1997... there were tears both of joy and sadness... joys at starting a new book and sadness at closing the old book... I think I was bi-polar that day all the way from Morgan City to Amarillo.... the next day was fear of driving on icy roads through Okla panhandle Later.... |

I think it will be better when we actually get on the road tomorrow, it's just a little wierd to sit in the middle of all these boxes it was hard to make so many decisions about leaving stuff behind Aaaw Beth - that would be so hard... think about it as a clean slate... you wont loose all of your wonderful memories with the stuff... Hang in there... once you are on the road Im sure youll get a HUGE rush of excitement! |

Jackson got pretty lucky. Most of them hit north or south of us. I don't think any of us lost power. And I haven't heard any word that the twisters hit any populated areas. Whew... Looks like Baton Rouge may be the place that took on the worst of this one. I haven't heard any specifics, though. |
