piggpen35 - 2008-10-08 5:14 PM I got my run in earlier today... I'm feeling sick to my stomach right now but hopefully will get to the pool right after work. Maybe a little Wii Fit tonight.

Hope you feel better. Wii Fit is great. I used it for 40min tonight. You don't even realize how much you are doing till you are done, which is part of what I enjoy about it so much.

Would you recommend Wii fit?  I own a wii and have been contemplating getting it, but wasn't sure if it was worth it

I LOVE Wii Fit. I think most people who say they tried it and it was no good have it confused with Wii Sports. NOT THE SAME THING!. Wii Fit teaches strength exercises, yoga, and aerobics; plus it is full of fun games that get you moving. I sweat during Wii Fit workouts and am frequently sore the next day. I dont know if it is the end of the obesity problem in America but it is a step in the correct direction.

If you gain weight it asks you why you think you gained and then teaches you things, and it also asks you about other family members and gives them anonymous feedback!

Wii Fit is GREAT!

I've been wanting WiiFit. I guess I need a Wii first. Don't be confused. I did not say that I need o Wii first . . .

 . . . yes, I do work with 14-year-olds all day.

If you can find one yes I would recommend it.  It's nice because it doesn't have all the options open to start.  As you go through the exercises you get new exercises.  It was well thought out.

I am shamefully taking a peach today from a cheap 15 min walk with the dog. Ended up working a lot later than planned and then had crap tonight so tomorrow will be  a better day.

15 min walk with the dog still earns a peach, way to get out there and do something!

I hit the weights this morning for 40 minutes this morning.  Work is going to be insane today, probably will not get out for lunch training.

Something light today.  I was exhausted last night, I couldn't even walk up my stairs to go to bed!  How sad is that?!

I may try my run after work but more likely, I'll do something that won't stress me too much.  Tomorrow is physical therapy in the morning.  8am... why did I sign up for that again?

Nothing peachy about this, but i just love this pic of my boys!  Although Calvin, (the weimaraner, dog on the bottom) did get me started in Marathon running.  nothing more humbling that doing a 10 mile run with your dog and then have to go to the dog park for another hour because you just don't run fast enough to tire him out!

Abbie,

They are cuties!

I got my peach!  I ran after work.  I felt good and my new pair of skins came in and I had to try them out.  I like them.

Peach number 10. Did my run and swim today. Tomorrow could use a little imagination and determination. My husband and I are going to stay in the city tonight for our 12th anniversary and leaving our son at home with Grandma. I've made tomorrow a rest day and I can see myself wanting to do absolutely NOTHING. This will be a test.

They are so cute. It is humbling when your dog outruns you. Mine outran me all the time until she got arthritis. Just try carrying a 63 pound dog who cant make it to the end of a walk.

Depends how long it lasts!  It's considered "wrestling - submission" on the training log menu or if it's make-up hanky panky it's "home improvement"   Juts remember, EVERYONE is now going to see how long you logged these "activities" for!!!

That's AWESOME! I never knew that!

Wrestling- submission could be a zone 5c workout! I'd log it!  If you are still in transition, prep, or base you should keep it to a zone 2 LSD. That's my favorite anyways! Hopefully your S/O has no issues with your HRM strap!

Welcome SweetP!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought about putting hanky panky on my log...

I got my peach this morning with physical therapy.  I may do something after work as well, who knows!?  I'm feeling so much better than I was yesterday.
