I ran -- woo hoo!  And I didn't die -- double woo hoo!!  Was close for a bit there, tho....  We'll see how happy my knee is about it later.  Amazing how fast I lost my run.  Well, I guess it's been a few months since I was putting in any kind of mileage.  Too bad bike fitness doesn't seem to transfer over to run fitness.

I got my peach yesterday by doing my second 5K. I beat my first time by 8 minutes! I am quite pleased with myself. Smile

Got my peach today with a hike with some young nieces.  It was good for a change of pace.

Tomorrow and Tuesday are going to be tough because I am going to be out of town and I don't seem to be good at getting myself out the door and running when I am some place different.  Also, Tuesday is my swim day and I won't be able to do that which will screw up the peach challenge and my limiter challenge which is swimming.  Well, that's what these challenges are about, right?  To get yourself doing something even when it is hard.  So, wish me luck.  I have a whole week of staying with the program on three challenges.  I can't let my teams or myself down now.

And now I am leaving to drive 2/3 the way to San Francisco and will drive the other 1/3 of the way early tomorrow morning.

MIA most of the week.  Had a good start to it, ended up only getting a walk to work Thursday and Friday, but had a nice little running race on Saturday and got outside for a 2 hour ride today - supposed to snow tomorrow so glad I got it in.  Had something all 7 days for just a nudge under 7 hours.   Not bad for the first week of December Surprised

I hope you feel better soon! Try Airborne next time as soon as you start feeling sick. I know there is no clinical evidence, but it works wonders for me.
