My guess is that if we can get Phil in here then the thread will hit 50 pages in a day or two

I was on a country road and all of the sudden there was a dog running alongside me in the ditch. He darted up to the road and I hit my brakes to not run him over. He yipped at my heels for a bit before turning around and running away.

That happened to me two weeks ago (one of my two outside rides) Sneaky dog. I didn't even see him coming. Sure gives ya' a rush of adrenaline! I've been told not to stop, because a dog could mess your leg up pretty badly while you are slowing down. Was wishing I had something to throw at him.

I was always told to grab my water bottle and squeeze the water at the dog. Haven't had the need to test the theory yet.

Some say to squirt them with water from your water bottle.

I did think of that later. Just now I got a laugh, though. I use a camelbak 'better bottle' with a straw. I could just see me trying to sprinkle the dog with it. Hee hee. I would have tried it, too! I didn't see that anyone was using this avatar. If they are, let me know and I'll try to find another one.

Someone told me that my avatar was not part of the Power Puff cartoon, so I switched again.

Yeah, that's Mojo Jojo, one of their enemies. (my kids went through a PPG phase; also been through the Power Rangers)

One of my roommates in college was a huge PPG phase, so we all watched a lot of it. I can't say Mojo Jojo without hearing it in his voice. It's funny.

I haven't watched in years, but a Wikipedia article says that the RowdyRuff Boys are the evil male counterparts of the Powerpuff Girls created by Mojo Jojo. So, feel free to go back to that avatar.

I almost feel like I need to watch this show at least once now
