Well, you have 2.5 hours till you ride. It could be OK.

I will not be heading up the hill training ride on Thursday/9-3-09.

Of course, each week less people are showing up... so, I'm not sure I'll be missed! HA!

Heh, I'll probably be out there a little earlier than she normally shows up. It's supposed to be a recovery day so I won't be going up & down Satan's Buttcrack that many times, but I'll roll around through there if weather permits.

Less and less people, but now I am going and I am bringing someone else this week.  I think I am going to do loops this week to include the hill up to cysco and the flat over to Target to get some mileage in and not commit suicide just going up "the devil's..."

I'll be there!

Frisco Skools have curriculum night tonight...or I would join. suckage.

I'll be out there tonight as long as it doesn't rain, probably by 6pm. I don't know where I'm parking, probably by the Target.

I bailed tonight, I ended up spending the better part of 2 hours trying to fix my TV(I get to order another part) and now it's too late to head out there. Sorry.

Watching does not equal fixing.  Unless, of course, it's strictly for troubleshooting purposes.

I'll let you know how much watching I do when it actually displays a picture. New lamp didn't help, now I'm ordering a new ballast. If that doesn't work, I'm ordering a shotgun.

I can't, I'm doing a ~4 hour ride in the morning.

yeah..i just remembered we are doing a 40 mile on sat morning.

Hey guys.  I just wanted to say "Hill repeats work!"  I spent many rides doing hill repeats and riding the Forestburg/Muenster loop in preperation for IM Louisville.  The IM Lou bike course was so much fun and the hills were EASY because of the hill preperation I did.  So, keep up with the hill repeats.  They build cycling specific strength which will benefit you whether or not your race has hills.

hear that JB? do hills and quit watching tv!

Alright, no more rest day on Monday. Today's debacle is now my rest day, tomorrow is hill work, then I'm cramming 2 days of ~4 hour rides into Saturday & Monday. *sigh*

if it makes you feel any better the hdmi port on my plasma went out 6 months ago...I have been watching tv with components...*sigh

I sucked it up and made it out there today. It wasn't too bad actually, little sunshine, tailwind in the right spots, temperature was nice. We could only be so lucky the whole month.

All right, it's on for 9-10-09!!! I'm starting at 6:00 PM though due to the fleeting daylight!

racing on sunday...out for me.

I'll be doing the freedom run downtown tomorrow...you guys (and gals) have fun!

What kind of race? A Half Ironman? Cause if it's a sprint... you can ride hills on Thursday.

Oddly enough, I found that when I rode 75 miles the day before one of my sprint races... I had the exact same performance that I did for my last one... where I had 2 days of rest beforehand.
