Morning everyone.  So far the month is going pretty good for me.  My LOVE goal is in solid territory however i may fall short of my run goal.  I'm nursing an injury and have to be careful with my volume.  I'll just be playing it by ear.

Good news is I'm absolutely blowing my weight loss goal out of the water this month.  5 pounds lost in the first 10 days of this month.  That's 12 less pounds I'm carrying around since new years.  I got to say, counting calories really does work.  I have found no other effective way to lose weight like this.

Did a run/swim yesterday and bike tis mornin. Keyboard still not workin...waitin to et my new one...tis is reason for me soundin like a (word tat rymes wit anster...wit te letters tat i cant work)

I did'n  kno u wre J'macian, mon!  Is your meda'coo school be rye' near da beach?!  Lawd have mercy.

WHAT IS UP FELLOW BEASTS?!?
Reading about that 17 degree run pumped me up!  Thanks for putting your body through that (forget who did that).  I challenge any other fellow Kisser to one-up that feat of testicular fortitude!

~Bill, I love your attitude.  I think we should embrace the dorkface spirit here and tell "HUGS" to KISS 1st Place g'bye!  Cause last time I checked, the winner stading on top of the podium gets a kiss, not a "hug".

I blasted my delts on Sunday from doing some power cleans...got too siked and couldn't stop doing extra sets and missed my Shoulders day today because my muslces are all knotted up.  But I'll make it up on my rest day.  I did get in a quick ~8-mi / 20-min. bike ride.  Tomorrow is Legs day and I ordered a better belt for squats.

Alright, thanks for all your support and love for the Soldiers on deployment!

Tune in tomorrow — same KISS-time, same KISS-channel!

~KISSES~

Heck yea, you did T$ !!  Those numbers are awesome.  Are you going to pump them up nearing the end, or just ride them out?

Hey there Kisses!  I was MIA for a few day b/c of the unexpected 7 inches of snow we got.  School has been out all week, and we are expecting a few more inches tomorrow night.  This is a huge deal for this town that's usually shut down by 1/2 inch.

Workouts are coming slow but sure.  The catch in my knee and icy streets are slowing me down a little.

Thanks for the clarification - I can be a competitive types person, as told to me by a former boss while taking the christmas party lawn bowls to a new extreme once.

First run for the week today (on a big cycling week so my second goal isn't looking to bad at present either) and have pushed up to 48% of my goal.  Feeling really good as I set a bit of a stretch in my main goal for the month.

Hi Team

I am withdrawing from the challenge this month .

There is way too much on my plate to focus on training goals.

Best of luck with the challenge .

Cheers & Kisses to All

Twas me.  No testicles though.  Today it is snowing like CRAZY.  Supposed to stop at 18" we hope.  Here is a pic from my lunch time snow shoe adventure along the golf course.

I'm supposed to be loving swimming, but hard to do when the Y is close.  Will have to do some serious swim weeks to catch up, but don't dispair.  They will get done.

Just got off the trainer.  8.05 of 18 hours complete for the month.  Starting to remember why I hate riding indoors .  I'll get it done though.

Did P90X Shoulders & Arms, with AB Ripper X  last night for strength. Wasn't going to do it since I was sore but I think it helped - not quite so sore today.

Yoga and a short run on the schedule today. Hoping to drag hubby along on the run.

KCarroll~~
Were you out running on that snowy golf course you posted pics of...I sure hope so! Pumps me up!

Dorkface Bill~~
I would cheer you down the street if I saw you [someone] biking in that temp. with inches of snow!!  That's awesome stuff!

I had a great Legs today in the gym.  Slowing getting my squat form back up.  Plus, we have an Officers' Run tomorrow and I don't want to fall out.  In the evening, I tricked my bud into doing core with me.  I kept on making up these super sets with the BOSU halfmoon, stability ball, or hanging leg lifts that was driving him insane.  I kept on saying, "no, listen, you got this!  10 more, give me 10 more!"  Then, when he hits those 10, I'm like, "give me 5 more, just 5 more!"  Anyway, he won't be sitting up out of bed tomorrow (more like rolling out).  Ha ha, ahhhh, zing.

~Ryan

It is starting to snow here so I thought it would be a good idea to go out for a run instead of staying in on the treadmill. I figure all of my races are not going to be nice and sunny so I better get used to it - that and the walls were closing in here at home. Legs/calves are still sore from P90x but thought what the hell. Got two laps around at home (wanted to do 3 for 2.1) and couldn't breathe. Lungs hurt so bad it almost made my eyes water.. Will see if I can finish it up here in the house on the TM. Did some stretching to get the legs feeling better. Didn't look at the garmin until a few minutes ago - did 1.34 in 13:44 - 10:15/mile which for me is about :30/mile faster than I was doing it last week on the TM. Went out toooo fast..

Epic fail on the run but at least I got some in...

How much snow did you end up with?  We were just North of the line, so we got none.  Still have about 6 inches on the ground from the last round though.

Good morning everyone.

Had some run intervals for breakfast this morning.  Nothing like feeling like you are going to puke at 6:30 in the morning to wake you up .

Not enough. It looked cool coming down but the temps stayed high enough that it didn't stick until late - I would be surprised if we got an inch but the wind that we had (30mph) was terrible for me to breath in... I think it was also the combination of going out too fast. Will have to try to go out slower...

P90X Legs and Back this morning with Ab Ripper X. Did everything for the count they wanted with the exception of some groucho walk squats - right knee was hurting a bit and didn't want to push it. I have done the whole double knee surgery before - don't need to even think of going back again.

Feels good to have the workout in for the day. Tonight Hubby and I are going to watch the PBR Bull Riders that are in town. I have to admit I get to splurge on the diet tonight for some nachos at the arena. I can't resist and I have worked at an arena before.. Luckily we only go once a year or so and eat there so it doesn't hurt to bad...

Happy Friday!

D-Poo~~
I hope every morning you wake up and see snow outside, you put on your stuff and go run JUST because you're that hardcore.  Like they say in the Army, "If it aint' raining, we ain't training!!"

Bill~~
Bill, I don't care if there's a tornado just sitting outside waiting for you.  You take your bike and you go knock out XYZ-miles because you're a BEAST.  On top of that, I'll make your "boot camp instructor" look like an Sesame Street TV areobics program.  You know what makes grass grow?  Blood, sweat, and tears.   But really, I just like reading your posts about your new crazy bike rides, lolLaughing

Global~~
Who needs breakfast; breakfast is a crutch.  Barfing, cramping, and inches of snow are crutches too.  Stop holding yourself back!Laughing

Dr  Mandy~~
I'm going to call you motorboat mandy because you swim like 68,000 laps a day, give or take 23 depending on the cosign of the inverse reciprocal fraction, spin of the earth, which leg you put through first in your swim suit...(it's your right, right?)

Okay Beast Kissers.  Fridays are normally my "relax" days, but Leadership got hit with a surprise 5-mile run.  Isn't that awesome?  The boss just calls an Officer run and you have to go change and meet out to stretch and go blaze some trails.  Also, I picked up some more protein powder and pre-work mix.  Surprisingly, it only takes about 4-5 days to ship out here.  Bodybuilding.com is a great site with a good online sales software.  SPEAKING OF WHICH...

Does anyone purchase Tri-gear online?  I have made 3 orders using two different companies (TriVillage / OneTri) and both were awful experiences consisting of no "out of stock" notification BEFORE you purchase with NO e-mail notification...just sits there in space until I (the customer) asks what is up.  I've purchased golf stuff, lifting supplements, running shoes, whatever online a million times...but these Tri-sites are archaic and non-sat.  Basically, they all deserve to be punched in the crotchfruit (ref. Tri Talk --> blow of steam thread).

Alright, enjoy your Fridays, and if you don't work tomorrow, you suck, go do some pushups
Beastly Kisses,
