Well it depends on what my max HR is...which is somewhere between 200-220...It is reasonably high. Mind you the 30min bike test isn't the most scientific in the world. SO ya...

Its more or less just a marker. Haha...but apparently I tolerate lactate sorta well at this point...haha

I got my run in. It was supposed to be an hour but I cut it short at 35 minutes. I am going to do a Scarlett. Tomorrow is another day.

Um, was that really a big surprise?  It is politics after all.

Sorry to hear about the bullies though.  I always think everyone is as honest and ethical as I try to be (and hope that I am), so I think I understand.

No school because many of the schools are polling places.
And when there is no school, my branch is quiet.
So, today is lovely.

Now I really am off to shower and feed the beasts then go to meet the DH.
We have a plan. Bring computer to restaurant with WiFi and see how things are going before going to the vote counting spot.

I want to kill my son (not really, just a figure of speech)
He walked out of his job a month ago and has been hiding this from us.  I kinda figured something was going on and have given him many chances this past month to tell us, but no, he would rather lie about it.  Today I got confirmation and brought it to his attention.  It's not the being out of the job that bothers me (although I now have to figure out how to pay his bills on top of all my own), but it's the lying and not telling us so that we could prepare.  I am  majorly "mad" at him.

WOW Kendra. That just plain sucks. You have every right in the world to be mad at him. Lying is totally unacceptable.

My lovely DD did that two years ago. By the time she got around to telling us sh had lost her place to live and wanted to live in one of our cottages gratis with the boyfriend. We let her live here but she had to work. Not hours, tasks. We had to let the power go off one time (it was winter, they were COLD) because they couldn't get around to working. It actually worked out in the end. She knows we will help her but it isn't a hand out.

Evening Ghouls. I survived my first day of *school.*

So just out of interest's sake I was looking up what there is out there on HR training advice...I more or less know it due to swimming...but the internet holds a lot of misinformation about it. Haha. (Big surprise, I know)...

I was reading this one article that has VO2 max training below threshold training for HR zones...um...no...just saying.

Also....unless you are Niels (pick random Nordic last name) super nordic skiing supastar...you're LT threshold will most likely not be at 95% of your max HR...Oh the internet. Just putting that one out there...haha

This is what entertained me before afternoon lecture. It amused me.
