Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge Happy Friday everyone! I had my last PT appointment this morning and I'm officially good to go so I'm psyched I no longer have to shell out copays every week... as well as have a mostly functional wrist, of course! Today is a planned day off for me, but I may try to get just a short run in later today - it all depends on whether soccer gets rained out or not. |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge I had a craptastic day.Well, not completely craptastic......had a good session with WTG. Got home to work and the network was crashed so I headed to the office and on my way there I got a speeding ticket. Then work was completely sucky. I did get 15 minutes on a stationary bike at lunch though and had a really good southwest vegetarian wrap.... |

Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge So, now I'm feeling guilty for complaining about my hubby's "flu" earlier in the week... He got a call from the doc yesterday and he actually tested positive for Lyme. And least he has an Rx now to fix him up! I got out this afternoon inbetween rain storms to get a short run in. I don't think there was a spot on my entire right leg/foot that wasn't entirely cramped up on the way home. I just spent some time with the stick and drank a bunch of water... Now, I'm off to try to make strawberry martinis - I need to find SOME thing different to do with the tons of strawberries I have ripening in my yard every day! |

Veteran 392 Calgary | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge Hey guys - just a quick hi ... haven't blogged much, my parents are visiting (!!!) and it's been busy, can't really be online much ... The good news is we spent hours today driving around communities on the outskirts of the city, checking out show-homes and open houses ... they're wanting to move out here now that they're retired, so that would be good - close enough to visit for an afternoon and not completely disrupt my life, yet far enough away I won't see them all the time! I have been swimming, I promise ... I'll get caught up on my blogging next week. |

Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge I am SO sleeeeeeepy today... Rode for a while on the drainer and finally finished watching Avatar. The end certainly kept me awake, at least! I loved the music too. I wanted to head over to the Y for a swim but I'm guessing the pool would be a bad place to nod off. So instead I'm off to finish making my strawberry gelato and make some fresh pasta for dinner. Hmmm... this makes me sound so much more domestic than I really am... |

The long weekend was pretty good, not quite as much training in as hoped. Major disruption on the Sunday when the wife went out and took our 3 year old son with him. 1.5 hours later just as I was getting our daughter down for her nap so I could jump on the windtrainer, get a phone call. "Come and get him, he's gone feral". 2 hours later after driving there and back and then having both kids all afternoon, got onto the windtrainer at 10pm. |
