Unfortunately, I messed up my alarm and over slept this am, so I didn't get my swim in. I will try to get it in tonight, but it is a long shot.Good evening. Another cupcake free day. Hooray. I'll weigh myself on Friday. Wish me luck. |

Champion 18680 Lost in the Luminiferous Aether | Subject: RE: MAY "You MAY Pick" Challenge--ALL WELCOME! Ok looks like I am going to have to change my goals since have done a number on my ankle. I am still going to try to get my strength workouts in though it will have to be upper body. I wonder if hobbling around on crutches counts since my shoulders are screaming from it. Extreme Veteran 536 | Subject: RE: MAY "You MAY Pick" Challenge--ALL WELCOME! So, I found out that I will be meeting with a client in cape cod next WEdnesday then staying the night down there and hopping on a ferry for a site inspection with another client, investigator and expert on Thursday, which means I'll miss a coached track, coached swim and coached cycling. BUT, apparently the hotel I'm staying at has a nice pool AND is adjacent to the "Cape Code Shining Sea Bike Path" so I'm gonna bring my wheels and hit the path after my client meeting, providing the weather is nice. Then I'll hit the pool for a little swim. So, I will count those activities as taking the palce of my coached workouts. |

Ask me for some random advice about cycling and swimming and that will make them coached workouts. |

I started to read a Chinese article yesterday, got most of the way through it without understanding even the general topic, finally figured out a few key words ("Philippines," not "illegal army"), took a break, and never went back to it. Hopefully today will be better. At least I got my strength training in! And my logs are current....as is the spreadsheet. Mine too! I added another mile with my kiddo today, and have a long ride tomorrow as well as this weekend! I plan on crushing this before the end of the month! Oh and if Kit gets her motivation, I will seriously humiliate myself for her! Go great whites!!
Woo hoo! Great whites are winning, no questions ASKED! I've swam twice in the last two days, with another OWS planned on Saturday morning. So I'm well on my way there. On the new job front, hubby and I had a nice long chat over a nice tall pint and have come to a meeting of the minds about moving. I spent some time yesterday scouring the business directories in Ashe-vegas to begin strategizing on likely job prospects. Chances are, I'll work in a restaurant, bakery, or coffee house again (a 12-year veteran barista here), but I'm also looking complementing that with a part-time gig at a YMCA in member services or something of that ilk. Eventually I want to end up in the coaching/bike-fitting business, but I will do what I have to do to get started. As long as I am busy, I am happy And a new job MUST occur, because my eyes are on the SWAN, AJ!!!!! |

Master 1356 | Subject: RE: MAY "You MAY Pick" Challenge--ALL WELCOME! This shark has not been back in the water -- all the high school kids who made sectionals were using the pool. I decided their need was greater than mine. I don't have scholarships and school offers pending on my performance! I have increased my biking efforts instead! Cynthia |

I am a chef at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe. I usually get a listing or can access their job listings. I can look into it and let you know what is available by Saturday or Sunday. I just need to know what you're looking for.
