Good afternoon east coast Ghoulies, good morning west coash Ghoulies.

Ann - glad that the surgery is done.  Have a comfy chair for him on Thursday where he can be involved but resting.

Robin - is the walk just on one day?  Hopefully so.  And I agree with Ann, your house is awesome even without decorations.

Dee - you are always up bright and early.

So, I had a very busy weekend.  I was off on Friday, but I left the house at 7am and did not get done with all my errands until 8pm.  So, we went out to dinner.  Woot!

On Saturday, I made two different soups (mushroom and sweet potato) to take up to my Dad on Sunday.  Then we had our TV delivered (our xmas present to each other), went to the furniture store where we picked out the tv console cabinet.  About twice what my hubby was hoping that we would spend, but he agrees it looks awesome.  Hubby went home to pick up out neighbors truck while I stayed at the store to fill out all the paperwork.  By the time he got back to the store I had already picked out the new table and stool set for our kitchen.  He didn't even know we were looking for something, silly him.  So, after we got the tv console into the house (that think was HEAVY!!!) we went back to the store to purchase and bring home the kitchen set.  I walked into the store, the first salesperson I saw I asked "Do you want to make the quickest sale today?" Of course they said yes since they work on commission. We brought that back home and the neighbor was home and helped carry it into the house.  Yeah for wonderful neighbors.

Then we went bowling with friends.

Sunday we drove to NC to visit with my Dad.  Both of my sisters were there with their spouses, so you could consider it a early Thanksgiving.  Made for a long day, 4 hour drive each way and the visit, but it was well worth it.

Meanwhile, my house is a total wreak from furniture being moved all around and electronics are all over the place.  Thank goodness we are not doing Thanksgiving at our house.  We leave tomorrow night for VA.  I've got to pack and get the cats set up tonight.  And wrap birthday and xmas gifts that we are carrying up with us. 

I'm already tired.

We start driving tomorrow after work.  We will stop in Marshall NC at my sisters for the night, and then drive the rest of the way on Wednesday.  I am so ready.  I need to remember to bring my paper and phone number to call in regarding the jury duty for next week.  Keep hoping that i won't have to report.

Kendra, I'm tired just listening to all of that! 

Ann, I'm glad your dad seems to be doing well. You can and Robin can come clean at myhouse anytime! hehehe.

Robin, I'll vacuum if you dust. And then you bring Ann to my house and do the same thing here,

Good morning Ghoulies!

I'm at home sick today.

I can't eat anything. I'm making turkey for 15 on Thursday.

Are any of you adopting? I need a new family. I'm not sure how much more I can take of mine.

NONONONONONO sickness! That is an order.

My family is not much better. There is a reason they live in Fla and I live here. Jim's family is equally cracked. Better stick with the messed up ones you know!

I like it! I like the stools rather than chairs and I like the storage under it. Good job!

Never being able to do anything right gets old. I can't understand how my hoodlum brother, who has been in and out of jail, and has several kids out of wedlock, who has needed money from everyone in the family at one point or another is the golden child. And my sister, who has a college degree, but has never had anything more than a part time job, but married a Navy man is the successful child. While I'm the screw up. I don't understand. I'm 95% sure I have a stomach bug, but that last 5% is reserved for nerves.

You are only a screw up because you achieved your goals.  You made something of yourself.  You gave birth to two wonderful children.  Your family must feel that since you have achieved so much they don't need to encourage you, while the other two need constant praise and encouragement so that maybe they will do something.  Ghoulies will give you the praise and pats on the back.  We are here for YOU!

Car is all packed for my trip. 

Rotary is done for the day.

Lunch with a peer & mentor at noon

Retirement party and transfer party at 3pm

Leave work by 4pm

Hit the road by 5pm

It is the same in my family, my brother can do no wrong, I can do no right. My husbands ex does the same thing with the kids. The boy, poops gold eggs, the girl, just poop. Good thing she has a step-mom that thinks she is pretty special, too!

I am betting on the 5%.. Dr Proctor suggests a bout of playing with the puppies is in order. They think you are GREAT! Later, do the same with the kiddos... they think you are GREAT, too!

Good morning Ghoulies!

I have to take sick/vacation time in 8 hour chunks. Yesterday I put a few hours in so I wouldn't have to work a full day today. I was going to work from home. We had a major piece of equipment go down late yesterday afternoon, so I'm in the office now to replace it. Hopefully I'm out of here by 11:00 today.

Have a slam dunk day!!!
