i'm sitting at my desk with my pants unbuttoned for comfort.  no shame, apparently.

is this acceptable to admit to an internet audience?

*dumbfounded and not sure how to respond*

it's kind of gross, the equivalent of after thanksgiving dinner.  nothing to see here, for sure.

Quick hello,  everyone.  Busy morning so far.  Swapped out the snow tires for the everyday shoes..  I killed a snow tire yesterday on a big chunk of metal.  Lifetime replacement is a good thing!!!

Now what to do about this paperwork on my desk.

Oh, I think we all won't believe that for a second, Lady Swole.

But I will throw this question out - do you have GI issues and it's a way to not exert forces on the flatulence build-up?

Then, as long as you are not sitting on a couch holding a beer and your other hand is down the unbuttoned pants, then it may not be an issue, until that stalky male co-worker comes by unannounced and catches you in an awkward situation.

So I go home at lunch and it seems a tad warm in the house (it's 80 outside)....look at the temp....it's 80 inside (and its set at 72). Rut-roh....

Outside unit isn't kicked on but airs running on the inside.

Must be a leak/out of freon and the safety switch tripped.

Lets hope it's an easy fix and it's easy on the wallet too.

Oof, that sucks

That could easily run a couple hundred if there is a hole in the lineset.  Recharging it is somewhat cheap and easy.

When this happened to me it was, in this order:

1. Freon
2. Blown capacitor
3. Motor
4. Short circuit = everything burned up = new unit

Good luck.

Wimp! When I was a kid we used to sleep without AC, in 120 degree weather, under blankets to protect us form malaria-carrying mosquitoes; in front of a fire to scare the hyenas and lions prowling about. Only to wake up and walk 12 miles barefoot in snow to go to school, each way.

Kids nowadays...

Man, setting the house to 72 is freezing!  And in my neck of the woods, expensive.

I typically keep the house around 77-78 and it feels fine.  Maybe because it's arid.

That's funny, because I've been cranking the heat all winter up to 72.
