disturbed275 - 2009-06-15 6:45 AM I'm actually feeling more sore today than yesterday.  I'm not sure how that works.

For me it is always the second day past the workout when I am the most sore

You are going to do great!  Nervous anticipation is part of the fun, is it not?

I wasn't online much over the weekend.  When they are showing the house I have to pack the kids up and find someplace to go.  No internet connection in the park, unfortunately.

My new cell phone should be here today.  I will be able to get online with the new one, so next time we get kicked out for a showing I'll be able to post pad check in with the team.

I did 4 miles yesterday, which puts me over 50%.  I'm starting to taper, but I have to make up one short run from last week.  I'm going to try to get that in tomorrow.

Yes, so good! I got to swim the full 2.4 mile course, my longest swim ever. Rode the full bike course and did tons of running. It was amazing to be in such a beautiful place and have the time be 100% dedicated to training. Wish every day could be like that!

How cold was the Lake Placid water?  My tri is in 12 days in Lake George, about an hour south.  With all the rain they've been getting, I'm afraid I'm going to be a popsicle by the end of the swim.

I swam in a lake yesterday which is way North of Lake Placid and the water was probably 66 or so which is correct as long as you have a wetsuit on

Where is Dee?  I think I need a good tasing!  I finished my tri today, not 100% happy with my performance.  RR is up.  I need to run more and swim more, especially OWS with no wetsuit.  My weaknesses were readily apparent today, that is for sure.   I am going to sign up for another tri that is on the same course in July.  I think I can do better!  Please feel free to chime in with advice for me if you have any.

-Andy

I just read your race report.  You finished, did pretty well and had some good learning experiences.  Sounds like a successful day to me.

And belated happy birthday!Laughing

Did you have to chip the ice off the lake to make a place to swim?  Wink

Just kidding.  That's actually warmer than I would have thought.

disturbed275 - 2009-06-14 8:34 PM And I finished my race report from yesterday's HIM in which I set a 33 minute PR.  It's here if anyone is interested.

That is so awesome.  Great comeback on the run.

BTW, your race schedule makes me tired just looking at it.
