so... speaking of OCD...

Do I need to watch my oldest who for the past week or so has asked for "1 piece of cheese (white american), 4 pieces of salami and five Ritz crackers" daily at lunch?

-B

How does he eat it?  I cracker with cheese, 4 crackers with 4 salami or does he eat the 4 crackes and salami first then the cheese with cracker last?  Or does he put 2 pieces of salami inside 2 crackers and have 2 cracker sandwiches then the piece of cheese ontop of the last cracker and save it for last?

Did this last year. You get a 'neat duffle bag' instead of a t-shirt.

Oh, there was some bastard waving a big box of donuts at the 10K mark, too. They do have a sense of humor, the winner's plaques are laquered buffalo turds.

I did it last year and ran most of the way with a fellow Irishman - except in this case it was a woman - who was over here with her guy visiting the US. They were both track people. She'd hardly run since May because of injury and still ran away from me in the last mile. It was fun

I did say something like "Get that box of donuts AWAY from me, you FREAK!" when he was waving them.

What kind of dounuts were they?

yes..

btw.. HI

hey sharkie...

he's 5 btw...

I can't tell if he's just into routine... or if he has tendencies that would lead him toward OCD...

I have no idea if OCD shows tendencies or it just sets in or something triggers it unexpectedly.

We will see just how bad of shape I'm in ... compared to last year, I'm not nearly as long run fit, but that can be be taken care of with some long runs, but I'm not going to be blowing a PR this time... more likely blowing chunks at the finish line. We'll see. Running downstairs to drop the entry form in the mail...

I had a dream about Donuts...

Once I had a donut and I made sweet, sweet lo.... ummmmm... nevermind.

I wouldn't worry about it.. He's just being a kid.. If he obsessively counts his fingers.. or taps his fingers.. or taps his foot.. or shows some body 'tick' that seems uncontrollable then you can worry..

but take everything I say with a grain of salt... i'm much more versed on Manic-Depression....

Yeah... I figure he's being a kid... after all, he can deal with a disrupted routine... he may not always be happy about it, but really he does fine.

I was just curious... so I asked the collective wisdom of TAN.

What kind of dounuts were they?

There were ALL kinds... Kruellers, cream-filled, jelly... it was a whole explosion of carbs and death-inducing sugar spiking goodies.

I might kick the guy in the shins this year.

I would have to stop and grab one....how far away is the water station?
