Oh.

And for everyone's info.

Napa and Sonoma rock.

I drank lots of wine.

Ate lots of great food (can somebody say Culinary Institute of America).

Saw lots of great scenery.

I.

Be.

Happy.

Yes they do.  I was VERY happy there on Sunday.  I went to Berringer, and Soutin (sp?)  I could sit there all day sipping on wine.

Artemis - 2008-09-23 3:22 PM I'm supposed to run, but I'm so tired. Not sure how much skipping a workouts is going to do. My week was supposed to be 5 miles today, 9 tomorrow, 5 Thursday, and 14 Saturday. I'm considering revising to (at least) 6 tomorrow, 4 Thursday, and then doing the 14 on Saturday. Any thoughts?

Cutdown should be fine and if you're feeling run down, then it's absolutely necessary.

Take the long run more slowly than usual, especially in the beginning.

That's the plan for the long run.  I am not adverse to walking when necessary.

I like chairs.

I want four chairs.

I only have three chairs.

I am sad.

Better, smart-a$$? I can't help it if you still read at a 3rd grade level and a 4 or 5 sentence paragraph (just sound it out, pehr-uh- graff) is too much for you...

I don't get it.  If you want four chairs, why did you buy three?

So you ordered 1?

I don't think I like you very much...

I am confused.

Me too...

Sometimes I like to use the in-between answer rather than the all or nothing answer.

If I'm tired, but need to get a workout in, I mostly due the time, but at an easier effort.  A recovery run of sorts (zone 1).  You get the time in, but still let the body recover.

But if you are REALLY tired.  Take the day off.

I need to ride the trainer for another 2.5 hours tonight.  Suggestion on what to watch?  I'm thinking the Heros season opener and some other stuff....

I'm back from my run. The knee REALLY smoothed out about 3/4-mile in. Feels WORLDS better now.

Dunno why wurkit only ordered 3 chairs. My table came with 6, but it's a larger table. Maybe hers is half size?

Makes no sense. But she is a female...

Sounds good.

I may do a sauted polenta with a chicken and sauce combo to go over it...  At least that's what I have the fixings for at the house.

Spokes - 2008-09-23 5:34 PM On the advice of a friend who is a serious AG racer, I'm not doing Cowtown. She thinks its better that I rest the knee, do lower mileages and enjoy the 5K in two weeks. I've proved I can run long distances, now perhaps its time to simply being consistent running regularly and moderately.

My God! The voice of reason! Can it be?

Hi Scotty pup!

What up, Spokes?

Dinner was delicious, and The Meeps got a bone to chew on. I think she's already consumed it...

Hi Scotty pup!

I'm thinking of simply doing a lot of yoga and lifting this winter.

I like actually having my puny arms actually fill out my cycling jersey sleeves. Well, sort of.

Same here. Will probably also focus on running for now, seeing as I don't have a viable racing bike (right now basic functioning is complicated and taxing, never mind trying to sell existing bikes, buy a new one, etc.), and running is SIMPLE. Shoes, go. Run whenever you feel like it.

Woof!

Oh, and you shouldn't have offered dinner ... I have this suprising habit of knocking on people's doors and seeing their shocked expressions and saying, "Remember when you invited me ..."
