Decision time. Order pancakes from McD's, stay up 'til 8, swim?

Sleep now, get up at 8, swim, reward myself with pancakes?

Just stay up already, swim at 8, then have pancakes?

Eff the swim, eat the pancakes?

Never mind. I just realized I only had beef jerky and a few mini Milky Way bars for dinner. I had a shrimp cracker and half a Coke for lunch. I think I NEED pancakes, NOW, and can reassess on the swimming after. BUUUUURP

What, you are only just now looking at my avatar? Found this mud wrestling shot. Sorry, it's tiny:

Dirty.

Hawt.

We actually had team mud wrestling at my HS, vaguely involving a ball (I went to ... well ... there's really no way to describe the school I went to. But most of us who went are still in touch with one another no matter how long ago we went). Must be the mud bondage, err, bonding.

I'm 3rd from the right, standing up, red shorts.

Double-hawt! (I'm talkin' bout your high-waisted shorts)

You could post that in BT girls Smile

and speaking of photos, you have an assignment the next time you are back at your parent's place.

Interestingly enough, I don't know that my sister and I will be there at the same time until December ... oh wait ... there's going to be some horrible shareholders and restructuring meeting with my dad and company. *REAL SHUDDER*

My sis would be happy to oblige. She's freakin' nuts and though I call her Mid-Skank (for her public appearance), she's really a total skank.

I swear my life has turned into Game of Thrones, if it hasn't already been like that since forever. Complete with a royal family succession crisis, seceding members, religious strife, people hacking each other to death, corruption, betrayal, upcoming presidential election for us too ...

My nuclear family at this very moment are all alive and hopefully vaguely well, and sort of speaking to each other, though.

And yeah, we're due for a new thread, though at this moment for the life of me I've forgotten how to do it all ... and in any case maybe we want to move past this page. Cough cough. Not that there's any guarantee the next will be better (it'll probably be worse).

You've done it four times and you can't remember how?  And I suspect that we could find something dirty/hawt/inuendish on every page of all 4 threads!

Hahaha, what a loving sister you are. Outing her skank-status on the internets and all. I'll add that to my notes. You've gathered you are also in the photo though, correct? The rest of the creative input can work itself out Wink

Well, sounds like you had a relatively successful trip though, no? Also, why didn't you just stay there? I suppose that might be overkill for time spent with family, eh?

Obviosuly that was a dumb question

So I get to add to the interesting diseases side of the manatees.  I am 30 and I have MONO. What. The. Hell.?

Well officially the wife has it but since I've never had it and have same symptoms as her we are pretty sure I have it too.

Oh you poor thing!

Question is: where did the wife get it from? Laughing

Actually you can get it at any age ... it's just far more common among young adults.

You LOOK like a young adult ... I mean, if I were married to you I wouldn't have to prey on (legal) teenagers.

My sister gets to wanting to kill people within two days of contact with my dad. I'm at three. Anything beyond that is, by definition, OVERkill.

Heh. I did get a text from my dad's assistant AFTER I landed here ... telling me I should wait around in Jakarta until he gets back from Singapore.

WTF ... I was already there for 11 days.

For the record, the pancakes were even more outstanding than usual, and now I have NO desire whatsoever to go to the pool. zzzzzzz frankly after running around after my folks for 11 days, big holiday, being sick ... maybe I should just sleep.

Yikes!  Take some nice liver supplements and no alcohol.  Or is alcohol a liver supplement???  I remember my sister getting this she was about 11 I think I had to piggy back her to the toilet.  She nearly suffocated under her pillow one night coz she didn't have the strength to get it off her!  Lucky I was walking by her room to the bathroom!

Oh you know it's the kissing disease right - so leave each other aloneWink

We sure can!  I'm at work - no-one else here, they are at the warehouse (I get to go Saturday...) so I can stay on here all day and not get busted!  yay!

Just had an interesting snack bar.  An Australian company called Loving Earth - the bar is a luvju one, this one is gubinge, camu and maca!  Tastes of apricot and coconut.  Not delicious but tasted goodness.  500mg of Vit C in one bar.  Testing them out for the local organic deli see if they are any good.  I feel wired after eating it!  Like I had the best coffee!

Everyone please say a little prayer for my SO...I am in a cranky mood tonight!  Tuckered from two days of digital xray training, not enough sleep over the weekend and early morning swimming.  Making corn chowder and fresh bread so hopefully my mood will improve after dinner.  Didn't feel like going for my run after work either...grrrrrrrrr.

So after trying to deal with the school issues all this week, money stress at home, and general work stress, I have been rather grumpy/depressed. That being said, today an interesting possibility has popped up.

First off, I have 2.5 to 3 weeks before I know the school status (whether I can finish my final two semesters or drop out due to poorness and no financial aid...i.e. loans). Today, on the AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) website a job offer showed up. It is a Lead Reptile Keeper position at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle---the pay rate is DOUBLE what I make now, I would STRICTLY work with reptiles/amphibians as well as doing some local (in situ) work with animals, I have the qualifications they require, and I would get to work with Komodo Dragons (one of my 'dream animals' that I always have wanted to work with). My sister lives near Seattle, so I would have a place to hang until I found a place to live there. Clint is fine with the idea, and there is golf, so he wouldn't be too bored--and there are a few pool service companies there too, so he could find a job.

In other words, I bet this could work. I am going to wait until I get my decision from the school--If I get to finish school, I will do so and find something else down the road. If the school is a no-go, I will send in an application.

Sooooo Salty....Are there lots of triathlons and obstacle course races up there in your neck of the woods? Smile

Can I answer?  Plus, I am just a few hours north and there are tons here too.  .  Sounds like a great prospect for you.  When a door gets closed, a window opens!!  Good luck either way.
