Maybe the magic elixir rub down is later in the coaching.  All I got so far is "don't ever swim like that again".

Hopefully assessment #2 is closer to "we can work with where you are now".  I am hoping to schedule this later in March.

Eric, be sure to invite the spin class to my next assessment so all the hot chicks in Houston can stare at me in my swim suit trying to swim.  (The Tri On the Run Endless pool is in the same room where they hold drainer spin classes - I was not informed my first assessment would have an audience of about 30

I am sure after EvD rubs me down with that magic elixir he rubbed all over you

Do your beautiful wives know about this magic elixir rubbing?
I need some brain bleach!

I have more than one???...    holy harem batman!
All my wives know about my rub-a-dub-dub! HA!  Ken's gonna get his rub down too!  It comes with the swim assesment! LOL!

When I said wives I was speaking of Fatty's as well as yours since you said EvD rubbed him too.

Ken has already had one assesment and didn't mention anything about a magic elixir.  I think he was asleep within 30 minutes of coming in the house but I thought he was just tired from swimming.  Eric?  Is there something the wives should know?  Now I'm a little concerned about my assessment.  Which I need to book BTW.

Ya I have, if he's the guy I'm thinking of very strong biker. Never seen him run but talking with him I know he could hand me my a$$ on a plater any time any day any distance...

All this talk about the magic elixir rub downs and forgetting to mention how you all paid extra for the service!

Trin2bfast - 2010-02-24 3:32 PM The runner in the slide show on the site is Ramiro Alverado... I have done some bike rides with him... super fast runner and fast tri-geek.  I think Eric has met him as well.  I guess that would make him legit... ha!

Well, Eric has been known to have a bottle of magical 'c' elixir!  Todd discovered it, and we have all been trying to get some... but that EvD guy is one stingy doooood!  You have to have him coach you officially, before you get a rub down! lol!  Hence, John's ability to post a faster swim time than me!

I'm glad we found a way to get you back to the thread and posting
Nicole83 - 2010-02-25 7:28 AMWow, I miss two days and we end up with a poligmist (sp) orgy in the thread.  My goodness.

Had that lovely crud that's going around that involves fever and phlegm for the past two days.  Feeling a bit more human today, but now husband isn't feeling great.  I love cold and flu season in Florida, it's a mess.  But at least its not as bad as last year.

Hi everyone.  We've been awfully quiet lately.

Romeo is still trying to do triathlons? He is a very good runner... but only okay on the bike and sinks like a rock in the water. Very nice guy though and a former dot! He told me I should quit triathlon and focus on running!

I'd put money on Eric in a triathlon.

If you were still in my AG I would recommend the same thing! With your swim improving the way it has been, you've just got to stay injury free for the run and it'll be a hell of a season for you.

That's too bad. 25-29 AG is going to suck for a lot of people this year in Houston haha

Ne and Brad are in it. Plus there is a new guy who just moved here, DJ Snyder who went 9:30 at Kona in 09. Though he may still just be 24, don't remember.

I know he's not a great swimmer... just average I would say. But I think he seems a little better than just okay on the bike, especially for an 'old' guy (35-39'er).  He held a 23 avg for 40+ when I rode (watched him pull away with Sergei)...with/behind him. I didn't know he was a former dot, I'll have to give him a hard time about that.  He is working very hard on his swim... getting coached at U of H every Sunday morning.  You young pups are very fortunate to have the start in this sport that you have... and not waiting until your almsot to your mid-life crisis before getting started.

Depending on the distance... I'd put money on Eric for the swim and bike... but in a half or full IM... that run may be the great equalizer! Olympic! EvD would have have him... thanks to the swim! lol!

That's cool, and I'm glad he is still working at it. I thought he had given up on triathlon and went back to running. I don't think he raced any tris or duathlons at all last year.

I'd still have money on Eric. Maybe not a full, never know how those things go!

KK & KNS - wow all that talk about who's rubbing who where I am blushing. --------Justin thoseare sweet arse wheels. I love the silver. They would look great on my bike. ------ umm with all the talk of elixer rub downs I am not sure I can make a race down by you and EvD unless I can dictate who the elixer applier is. One out of area race maybe all I am allowed this season. I really wish I could make the tubing race.
