I am confused. I thought DC, MD, and VA are all holding primaries on Tuesday.

Not sure how your states work, but in NJ if you register as non-affiliated, you decide when you show up at the poll on primary day if you want to vote Dem or Rep.

Primary rules are VERY state specific.  In some states, unaffiliated voters can go vote in a primary of their choice (open primary, like NJ and VA).  In other states, only registered party members can vote in their primary (closed primary like MD).  It gets even more confusing when you start figuring out the closed states and all of the variation about how soon before the primary you can switch parties and/or declare a party affiliation.  Some states are more worried than others about opposing parties 'raiding' the polls (i.e. a lot of Republicans switch their party in the primary to vote for a weak Democrat to boost the chance of their own candidate winning the general election).

I might actually go vote in the Dem. primary for the first time in my life, and vote for Obama.  If I have to look at Hilary's giant rear-end in those pantsuits for 4 years, I think I will puke.

Yeah, I understand the rules vary from state to state; I just don't know off the top of my head the rules for all the states. But now I understand why you said what you said about MD and VA in your previous post.

Yeah, those darn poll raiders! Do enough people really do that to where it can make a difference?

I am not registered to vote in VA - still in NY (Dem). And I completely forgot to get an absentee ballot, so I didn't vote in yesterday's primary in NY. Whoops.

In states that have a heavy majority in favor over one party or the other poll raiding is certainly possible.  Given a two party system with a long history of corruption and foul play it is within the realm of possibility and worth trying to prevent.

Tim, to hate a political candidate you have to know  his/her platform is and not what she/she is wearing. The way she dresses is to keep attention away from actually what she is wearing, and keep it on her message. At the beginning of her campaign she actually wore a beautiful fancy suit for a debate, and then next day all channels only talked about her fashion. Gross if you ask me! It is amazing how unfair media attention is to women in politics. Fat man is "aging gracefully", slightly overweight woman is a "giant rear end." We women, had to stare at ugly men presidents plenty in a past, and no one puked!

I like Obama and I like Hilary, whoever wins - hopefully our country is in for a great change, we never had a minority president.

I just think we need to be fair to our candidates. By the way, do you like Obama's ears? I can't believe I might have to be looking at his sticking out ears for many years... It greatly upsets me

In theory, it could happen. But that would typically require the cooperation
of [tens of] thousands of poll raiders...

At another date and time, I have an interesting story to share involving Love Raiders...

Shelly, c'mon.  You need to do your due diligence as a responsible voter and study in detail their platforms.  It doesn't matter who is coolest, or has the biggest rear-end, or the biggest ears.
